Job Description

Provide day to day support to GuestTek staff.
Configure and maintain desktop, laptops and server systems.
Set up and administer end user computing accounts.
Assist with network maintenance.
Participate in support and administration of the Avaya phone system.
Provide IT-related training for end-users.
Schedule projects to meet delivery dates and commitments.
Keep abreast of technology advances in computer hardware and software.
Other IT related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-year technical diploma from recognized institution or 3 years IT support experience.
Experience troubleshooting a wide variety of computer software and hardware problems and implementing standard configurations.
Support and troubleshooting of Windows 7-10 and Office 365 applications.
Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows Server 2008 R2 – 2019.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Experience working with Microsoft System Center
Experience troubleshooting and working with Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business
Experience troubleshooting network issues and working with Cisco and Palo Alto hardware.
Management of servers using Hyper-V virtualization.
Linux experience is an asset but not required
Administration and experience supporting Avaya VOIP telephony system
Salesforce experience is an asset but not required
Flexible, pro-active approach and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, managing and resolving priorities.
Prepared to maintain and enhance own personal and professional development.

Additional Information

Superior written and verbal communication skills English; able to discuss technical issues with both technical and non-technical people.
