The role combines global HR process execution, and India statutory and employee experience administration. The position is purposefully constructed to operate at the intersection of disciplined process, regulatory compliance, AI-augmented service delivery, and employee experience.
Key responsibilities
Global employee lifecycle operations
Coordinate global new hire pre-boarding operations, employment changes (such as but not limited to transfers, role changes, and manager changes), and offboarding workflows across all eleven jurisdictions, with accuracy and expedient completion.
Route and archive employment documentation such as but not limited to offer letters, employment contracts, and separation agreements.
Create and update employee records in the HRIS as the single source of truth, ensuring synchronization with downstream payroll, IT provisioning, finance, and benefits systems through documented integrations and reconciliation cycles.
Provide ongoing Tier 1 support to all employees globally in a range of topics, triaging tickets to the appropriate internal resource as needed.
Order/ship business cards for new hires.
- Plan, prepare, and execute HR compliance training for new hires (ongoing) and annually for existing employees.
- Develop and maintain a global onboarding requirements matrix (e.g. work authorization, tax forms, etc.).

Support India accommodation requests.
Administer POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) awareness training and tracking.
India benefit administration
- Administer India benefits programs, including new hire benefits orientation and enrolment, employee enrollment events (changes, promotions, exits), data updates in benefits platforms, and coordination with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and settlements. Support annual benefit enrollment cycle.
- Support vendor management (e.g., Plum), including regular reviews and issue resolution; perform invoice reconciliation, claims disbursement monitoring, and oversee meal card administration (monthly loading, reconciliation, payroll coordination) and creche program administration.
- Provide front-line support for employee benefits queries and basic claims issues; support benefits communications and ongoing content maintenance on internal platforms (e.g., company intranet).
- Support India benefits benchmarking through data gathering and analysis; assist with wellness and culture initiatives, and preparation of benefits and payroll-related reports.
Process design and continuous improvement
Document HR operational workflows, standard operating procedures in a centralized knowledge base, refreshed on a defined cadence.
Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities to automate and compress cycle times, eliminate manual handoffs, and improve first-contact resolution rates on employee inquiries.
Assist with design and delivery of tier-zero self-service experiences (intranet, knowledge articles, FAQ libraries, AI-assisted virtual agents) to deflect routine queries while preserving human escalation paths.
AI-enabled operations
Apply Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Automate fluently to daily workflows to create automation with disciplined validation of outputs.
Use prompt engineering fundamentals to construct reliable, reusable prompts for HR documentation, employee communications, and policy interpretation tasks.
Maintain disciplined awareness of AI ethics, bias risk, hallucination management, and data privacy implications, ensuring AI is deployed in service of, never in substitution for, sound HR judgment and regulatory compliance.
Reporting, analytics, and documentation
Prepare recurring HR operational reports.
Maintain audit-ready documentation for SOC 2, ISO 27001, internal audit, and statutory inspections.
Required qualifications
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, or a related field, complemented by two to four years of progressive HR Operations or HR Generalist experience, ideally within a multi-jurisdiction technology, SaaS, GCC, or shared services environment. Candidates must demonstrate working knowledge of India statutory frameworks and proficiency with at least one core HRIS platform. Experience supporting end-to-end benefits administration in India, including employee lifecycle events, vendor coordination, payroll alignment, and benefits platforms, with strong attention to accuracy and compliance. Strong written and verbal English communication, advanced spreadsheet capability, and a documented record of accuracy in employee data administration are mandatory.
Core competencies
The successful candidate will exhibit a data integrity mindset that treats HRIS records as the system of record for all downstream decisions, paired with deep customer service orientation that recognizes every employee inquiry as a moment of trust. Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage vendor relationships, support employees effectively, and analyze benefits data to drive informed decisions. Attention to detail is non-negotiable in this role, given the regulatory and financial consequences of error. The role also demands cross-cultural collaboration across time zones, learning agility in the face of rapidly evolving statutory rules, and AI tool fluency as an enduring expectation rather than a future skill.
Working arrangements
Hybrid, three days per week in office at Hyderabad. The role requires regular overlap with US Eastern and EMEA operating windows, with a typical core schedule of 11:00 to 20:00 IST, varying depending on business needs.
