Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - On-Prem Leader and Solutioning lead The lead role of Data Center Operations Management and support responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of operations management and support within a data center. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the data center and maintaining the integrity availability of data and systems and strategically work with client on optimizing the physical Data Center footprint. The role will serve as both an On Prem Infrastructure Leader and a Solutioning lead from the practice organization playing a dual role in service delivery excellence and strategic solution development. In addition to managing endtoend data center operations this role will be accountable for leading RFP responses new solution creation A Idriven automation initiatives and digital transformation programs that drive growth for the business Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise a team of operations management and support staff providing guidance training and performance evaluations. - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KP Is) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - Collaborate with various departments such as IT network engineering and security to ensure seamless operations and timely issue resolution. - Implement and maintain data center security protocols including access controls firewalls and intrusion detection systems as well as work on physical access management for data centers. - Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity. - Manage vendor relationships including procurement contract negotiation performance evaluation and asset management. - Prepare and present reports on key operational metrics highlighting trends challenges and recommendations for improvement. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data center operations management and support and implement best practices accordingly. - Strategically discuss with client on optimization and cost effective approaches - Own and drive endtoend RFP processes for onprem infrastructure hybrid cloud data center operations and modernization deals. - Partner with sales bid management finance and delivery to create winning highquality proposals. - Translate client requirements into architecturally sound costoptimized and deliveryready solutions. - Create solution blueprints estimations staffing models SL As/OL As pricing inputs and transformation roadmaps. - Lead the development of new service offerings reusable assets accelerators and frameworks in onprem infrastructure and hybrid models. - Evaluate emerging technologies and integration opportunities across AI automation observability and edge computing. - Work closely with the practice team to shape nextgen offerings and reusable components. - Identify opportunities to apply AI Gen AI and automation across data center operations to enhance efficiency reduce downtime and optimize resource consumption. - Drive initiatives using automation tools (AI Ops ITSM automation predictive modeling selfhealing systems). - Lead automation assessments implementation planning and ROI/business case preparation. - Engage with clients to design transformation roadmaps including onprem modernization hybrid cloud adoption data center footprint optimization and migration strategies. - Position Genpacts AI Gigafactory assets accelerators and industryleading digital capabilities as part of the transformation journey. - Advise customers on technology strategy architecture evolution and operational maturity. - Develop Po Vs whitepapers solution overviews and clientfacing collateral to support practice growth. - Conduct internal capability development mentoring and knowledgesharing sessions. - Support teams with technical expertise during prospect discussions and orals.
