Job Title: Godown Manager

Location: Ghaziabad

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Godown Manager to oversee warehouse operations for a transport company. The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising loading and unloading activities, ensuring timely dispatches, and maintaining proper records of goods movement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day godown and warehouse operations.
Supervise loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
Coordinate with transport, operations, and dispatch teams for smooth movement of consignments.
Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Monitor warehouse staff and allocate duties effectively.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the godown.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues.

Requirements

Graduate in any discipline.
1 - 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, transport, or godown management.
Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
Basic computer skills and record-keeping abilities.
Strong leadership, coordination, and organizational skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in the transport and logistics industry.
Ability to manage manpower and handle operational challenges efficiently.
Familiarity with inventory software/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
