We are looking for candidates who:

- Can commit to the full 6-month internship duration
- Are self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to meet deadlines
- Are comfortable with daily outreach activities and professional engagement responsibilities throughout the internship period, including the training phase
1)Candidates who successfully complete the internship and perform well may be considered for full-time employment opportunities in MEP Engineering / Building Services Design.

4)Candidates are requested to apply only if they are genuinely willing to commit to the complete 6-month internship duration. Please do not commit to the program if you do not plan to complete the full term, as the internship involves significant time, training effort, project planning, and resource allocation from both the company and the candidate side. Early discontinuation may result in unnecessary loss of time, effort, and expenses for both parties.
5)Selected candidates may be required to provide written consent from parents/guardians confirming their understanding and commitment to the complete 6-month internship program, responsibilities, and conditions.
6)Please note that candidates who discontinue the internship midway, fail to comply with the internship terms and conditions, fail to complete assigned responsibilities, or leave before successful completion may not be eligible for the Internship Completion Certificate.
7)Candidates who successfully complete the full 6-month internship program and demonstrate good performance, technical capability, professional conduct, and commitment during the internship period may be considered for a full-time role as Junior MEP Design Engineer at AWA Teknik Private Limited, with a starting salary of ₹7,000 per month, based on company requirements and performance evaluation.

Internship Overview
This internship provides structured and practical exposure to MEP design, HVAC design calculations, electrical load estimation, and plumbing systems for projects such as hospitals, showrooms, residential buildings, airports, and other infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing MEP design drawings, HVAC layouts, electrical schematics, and plumbing drawings along with basic calculations
- Support project delivery with focus on quality and timelines
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as required
- Coordinate with office and site teams for execution support
- Assist in training programs for engineering students
- Mandatory: Conduct daily outreach to students, architects, and institutions without fail, including during the training period and evening engagement during training sessions
- Contribute to marketing initiatives (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, webinars, events)
- Assist in business development and industry networking activities
- Submit regular work updates to the project coordinator and director
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing design, and firefighting systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Internship Structure & Timeline1. Training Period – 2 Months
- Structured learning phase with MEP fundamentals, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing Design and drafting
- Includes online tutorials, internal workshops, and guided training
- Site exposure may be provided where applicable
- Daily outreach responsibilities will continue during the training period
- Candidates are expected to complete the assigned training modules, learning activities, and evaluations within the stipulated period
- If the required training objectives are not successfully completed within the training duration, the training period may be extended without stipend until satisfactory completion
2. Active Project Work – 4 Months
- Work on live MEP design projects, HVAC design assignments, electrical layouts, and plumbing system design after training completion
3. Feedback & Evaluation
- Ongoing performance review
- Guidance for professional and technical development
Work Environment
- Location: Palarivattom, Kochi
- Working Hours: 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM, Monday to Saturday
- Candidates are required to bring their own laptop
- Site visits may be required based on project needs
Compensation & Benefits
- Training Period (First 2 Months): Structured training phase focused on skill development (no stipend)
- Post-Training Stipend: ₹3,000 per month
- Performance-based incentives may be considered
- Leave Policy: Up to 1 day per month (additional leave may extend internship duration)
- Internship Certificate provided upon successful completion and adherence to internship terms and conditions
Important Conditions
- Selected candidates will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
- Candidates are expected to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
- Internship certificates will only be issued to candidates who successfully complete the internship duration and comply with company policies and responsibilities
