Role Purpose
We are looking for a practical and organised candidate to support our UK property acquisition team with property viewing coordination, property information collection, and initial viewing-based assessment. This role will help the management team understand whether a property is worth progressing before further due diligence or investment decisions are made.
The candidate will work closely with acquisition team members, agents, onsite viewers, contractors, and management to arrange viewings, collect photos and videos, review property details, record observations, and prepare clear viewing summaries.
Role Overview
The Property Viewing Candidate will be responsible for supporting the full viewing process from shortlisting to reporting. The role involves coordinating property viewings, reviewing property listings and floor plans, arranging video walkthroughs where required, collecting key property information, and preparing structured reports for management review.
This is not a final decision-making role. The main responsibility is to make sure management receives accurate, clear, and timely property viewing information so unsuitable properties can be filtered out quickly and good opportunities can be progressed faster.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Coordinate property viewings with agents, onsite team members, contractors, consultants, or internal staff.
- Review property listings, photos, videos, floor plans, room layouts, and available documents before and after viewings.
- Collect viewing information such as property condition, room sizes, layout, access, parking, utilities, visible defects, refurbishment needs, and improvement potential.
- Arrange or review video-call walkthroughs and property videos where physical viewing is completed by another team member.
- Prepare clear property viewing summaries with observations, photos, risks, opportunities, and next-step recommendations.
- Maintain property trackers, viewing notes, follow-up lists, and acquisition-related records.
- Follow up with agents or internal team members for missing photos, videos, measurements, documents, or clarification.
- Support the acquisition team by highlighting obvious risks, red flags, and value-add opportunities before management review.
Property Assessment Focus
The candidate should be able to review a property practically and identify whether it may have potential for refurbishment, HMO use, conversion, extension, serviced accommodation, supported accommodation, or other value-add strategies. The role requires common sense, attention to detail, and the ability to present observations clearly rather than making complex technical decisions.
Candidate Profile
This role is suitable for a candidate with experience in property coordination, real estate support, civil engineering support, construction coordination, admin support for property projects, or similar work. A civil engineering background is useful but not mandatory if the candidate has strong property understanding, good observation skills, and the ability to prepare accurate reports.
The ideal candidate should be organised, proactive, reliable, comfortable speaking with agents and internal teams, and confident in reviewing photos, videos, layouts, and property information. They should be able to work independently, follow instructions clearly, and escalate important issues without delay.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Good understanding of property layouts, room usage, and basic refurbishment requirements.
- Ability to review property photos, videos, floor plans, and listing information.
- Good communication and follow-up skills with agents, contractors, and internal teams.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and tracker management skills.
- Good MS Excel / Google Sheets knowledge and ability to maintain organised records.
- Basic understanding of UK property types, HMO layouts, conversions, and refurbishment works is an advantage.
Experience
2 - 4 years in property coordination, property viewing, real estate support, construction coordination, civil engineering support, project coordination, or similar role. Prior experience supporting UK property projects will be an advantage.
Work Details
This is a full-time role based in India, supporting UK property acquisition and viewing activities. The work mode is an office-based role. However, employees will work from home until further notice, as per company instructions. The candidate may need to coordinate with UK-based agents, contractors, or team members, depending on viewing schedules and project requirements.
