PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing heath challenges.
PATH’s market access and market shaping team works to unlock barriers to essential health products—shaping supply, demand, pricing, procurement, and financing so that life-saving technologies reach the people who need them. PATH is seeking a Data Analytics Associate (also titled Market Analytics Associate) to provide research, data analysis, and modeling support to these efforts. The Associate will initially support the SAFEStart+ project and the team’s business development (BD) efforts, with responsibilities expected to expand over time to PATH’s broader market access and market shaping portfolio across infectious diseases, maternal health, and non-communicable diseases.
SAFEStart+ is a UNITAID-funded, four-year initiative focused on eliminating vertical transmission (EVT) of HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, and Chagas disease. The project strengthens integrated service delivery models, generates evidence, and facilitates scale-up across multiple countries: scaling integrated EVT programs in four core-engagement countries (Malawi, Nigeria, Paraguay, and Uganda); addressing barriers to EVT scale-up and validation in five focused-activity countries (Brazil, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal, South Africa, and Vietnam); and disseminating innovations and lessons learned to ten peer-learning countries. SAFEStart+ pursues four core outputs—country-led EVT demand and scale-up; evidence generation through implementation science and cost modeling; strategic market shaping to unlock barriers to essential EVT products; and effective transition and financing of integrated EVT programs—and employs a co-leadership model with strong community engagement, working closely with consortium partners including the International Community of Women Living with HIV Eastern Africa (ICWEA) and the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA). The Associate will contribute primarily to the strategic market shaping output.
This role requires strong data analytics skills paired with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights—distilling analyses into the implications and recommendations that matter most for decision-making. The Associate will work with guidance from the Senior Market Access Officer and Market Access Lead, particularly during onboarding, and is expected to ramp quickly—progressively taking ownership of analyses and working with growing independence. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who can manage up, learn fast in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, comfortably navigate ambiguity, and turn around quality work on or ahead of deadline.
This is a full-time position contracted through third-party payroll (Randstad) for an initial duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension, and based in PATH’s New Delhi, India office. The Associate will report to the Market Access Lead and work closely with the Senior Market Access Officer.
