We are looking for a creative and versatile Designer & Video Editor who can handle everything from product packaging label design to social media creatives, website banners, promotional flyers, and video content all in-house. A key part of this role is video editing — you will take raw footage shot at our factory and production facilities and turn it into polished reels, shorts, and promotional videos for Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp. What sets this role apart is the expectation to experiment with AI-powered creative tools — generate flyers, create AI videos, and produce realistic scenario-based ad films using AI. For example, creating an AI-generated video of a wedding family discussion where they choose our products — like a mini ad shoot, but done entirely with AI tools. If you are someone who loves design, lives on Instagram and YouTube, edits videos in your sleep, and is excited about pushing the boundaries of what AI can do in content creation — this role is made for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Product Packaging & Label Design
Design product packaging labels for all product lines — including nutrition labels, ingredient lists, brand logos, legal markings, barcode/QR code placement, and bilingual text
Create packaging designs that are shelf-ready and print-ready — work with printers and packaging vendors on die-lines, bleeds, color profiles (CMYK), and material specifications
Ensure all packaging designs comply with FSSAI labeling norms (for food items), Legal Metrology requirements (net weight, MRP, manufacturer details), and marketplace listing image guidelines
Design box packaging, pouch labels, sticker labels, gift box wraps, hamper packaging, and shipping box branding
Maintain brand consistency across all packaging — fonts, colors, logo placement, and design language
Create multiple packaging variants for different SKUs, sizes, and seasonal/festival special editions (Diwali packs, Navratri specials, wedding gift hampers, etc.)
Prepare packaging mockups and 3D renders for internal review and marketplace product listings
B. Social Media Flyers & Creatives
Design daily/weekly social media creatives for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn — product posts, carousel posts, stories, offer announcements, festival greetings, and testimonial graphics
Create thumb-stopping designs that drive engagement — strong visual hierarchy, bold typography, vibrant colors, and clean layouts
Design platform-specific creatives in correct dimensions — Instagram post (1080x1080), story (1080x1920), Facebook cover, Pinterest pin, LinkedIn banner
Work with the marketing team to plan content calendars and deliver creatives on schedule
Create templates and reusable design systems for recurring post types (new arrivals, offers, reviews, behind-the-scenes)
Stay updated on social media design trends — trending formats, meme styles, aesthetic trends, and competitor creative analysis
C. Website Banners & E-Commerce Creatives
Design hero banners, category banners, promotional banners, and sale banners for Shopify store and marketplace listings (Amazon, Flipkart)
Create product listing images — main images, lifestyle shots, infographics, comparison charts, and A+ content / Enhanced Brand Content for Amazon
Design landing page graphics, pop-up banners, email newsletter headers, and seasonal campaign creatives
Ensure all website creatives are optimized for web — correct file sizes, responsive dimensions, and fast loading
Create mobile-first designs — majority of traffic comes from mobile devices
D. WhatsApp Promotional Flyers & Marketing Collateral
Design WhatsApp broadcast flyers — offers, new product launches, festival promotions, flash sales, and event invitations
Create designs optimized for WhatsApp — lightweight file size, clear text at small sizes, strong CTA, and mobile-friendly dimensions
Design catalogs, brochures, price lists, and wholesale product sheets (digital PDF format) for B2B WhatsApp sharing
Create business cards, letterheads, invoice templates, and other brand collateral as needed
E. Video Editing & Reels Creation
Edit raw video footage captured at our factory, warehouse, and events into polished, engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and WhatsApp Status
Create product showcase videos, behind-the-scenes factory tours, packing process videos, unboxing videos, and customer testimonial edits
Add text overlays, subtitles/captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and motion graphics to videos
Edit long-form videos (3–10 min) for YouTube — product demos, how-to guides, festival preparation videos, and brand story videos
Create trending reel formats — sync to trending audio, use jump cuts, speed ramps, and dynamic transitions that boost algorithm reach
Maintain a consistent video style guide — intro/outro templates, brand colors, fonts, and music library
Optimize video exports for each platform — aspect ratios (9:16 for reels, 16:9 for YouTube, 1:1 for feed), resolution, and file size
Deliver 8–15 reels/shorts per month and 2–4 long-form videos per month
F. AI-Powered Creative Experimentation
Experiment with AI image generation tools — Midjourney, DALL-E 3, Adobe Firefly, Leonardo.ai, Ideogram — to create unique flyer designs, product backgrounds, lifestyle imagery, and festival-themed visuals
Use AI video generation tools — Runway ML, Pika Labs, Kling AI, Synthesia, HeyGen, Sora — to create scenario-based promotional videos
Create AI-generated ad films with realistic scenarios — for example: a wedding family sitting together discussing decorations and choosing our products; a mother preparing pooja at home with our samagri; a Diwali family gathering with our gifting hampers — all produced using AI video tools with scripted narratives
Write creative scripts and storyboards for AI video ads — natural, relatable, real-life scenarios that feel like actual ad shoots but are generated entirely with AI
Use AI voice tools (ElevenLabs, Murf.ai) for professional voiceovers and narration in AI videos
Experiment with AI-powered design tools — Canva AI, Adobe Sensei, Figma AI plugins — for faster design iteration
Use AI background removal, product image enhancement, and upscaling tools to improve product photography
Stay at the cutting edge — continuously test new AI creative tools as they launch and report findings to the team
Build a library of AI-generated brand assets — backgrounds, lifestyle scenes, model shots, and video templates — that can be reused across campaigns

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have:
1–5 years of experience in graphic design and video editing — portfolio demonstrating packaging design, social media creatives, and video content
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
Hands-on experience designing product packaging labels with print-ready output (CMYK, bleeds, die-lines)
Proven track record creating social media flyers and creatives for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp
Video editing skills — ability to edit raw footage into engaging reels, shorts, and promotional videos with text, transitions, and music
Active interest and hands-on experience with AI image tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Firefly, or similar)
Basic understanding of AI video tools — willingness to experiment with Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, or similar
Strong sense of visual design — typography, color theory, composition, and brand consistency
Ability to write simple creative scripts and storyboards for AI-generated video ads
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on tight deadlines
Self-motivated, curious, and excited about learning new AI tools as they emerge
Good to Have:
Experience with motion graphics in After Effects
Photography skills — product photography, flat lays, and lifestyle shoots
Experience with e-commerce product listing images (Amazon A+ content, Shopify banners)
Understanding of print production processes — paper types, finishes, label materials
Knowledge of FSSAI and Legal Metrology labeling requirements for food packaging
Experience in FMCG, e-commerce, D2C, or retail brand design
Basic understanding of social media marketing and Instagram algorithm trends
Familiarity with 3D mockup tools (Smartmockups, Placeit) for packaging visualization
Experience with Figma for collaborative web/UI design

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field
Self-taught designers with a strong portfolio are equally welcome
Certifications in Adobe tools, video editing, or AI tools are a plus
