Introduction
The FEA Engineer is responsible for performing advanced finite element analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity, dynamic performance, and lifting safety of pump components and assemblies. This role ensures that all designs meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements under operational and handling conditions, while supporting product development through simulation-driven design optimization. He will report to Reports to local RTD manager / Team-lead. Job Location -Alwar, Rajasthan.

What you’ll do
Perform structural and pressure analysis of pump components and assemblies, including evaluation of inlet liners, inlet doors, and bolted joints, ensuring compliance with defined design, safety, and performance requirements.
Evaluate the strength, stiffness, and deformation characteristics of pump components under specified operational and loading conditions.
Validate the structural integrity of lifting features, including lifting lugs and associated support structures, to ensure safe handling, transportation, and installation.
Assess the structural performance and stability of pump assemblies, including evaluation of anti-tipping behaviour under handling and operating scenarios.
Perform lifting analyses using 3-point and 4-point configurations of bare shaft or pump with various motor arrangements.
Validate lifting and handling requirements for critical components, including impellers, backliners, bearing assemblies, and bare shaft systems, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and internal engineering guidelines.
Perform vibration analysis of complete pump assemblies across different motor arrangement configurations.
Conduct rotor dynamic analyses, including evaluation of critical speeds, natural frequencies, and potential resonance conditions.
Ensure dynamic stability and acceptable vibration performance across defined operating ranges.
Develop and execute simulation models for combined load cases, including internal pressure, nozzle loads, piping interaction effects, and lifting and handling conditions.
Evaluate stress distribution, deformation, and safety factors to ensure design robustness and compliance with engineering standards.
Provide technical recommendations to enhance structural performance, safety, and cost efficiency of pump designs.
Support the development and optimization of cast components, fabricated structures, and rotating equipment through simulation-driven engineering analysis.
Who you are
Mechanical Engineering degree with 3–6 years of FEA experience
Proficiency in ANSYS.
Strong knowledge of:
Structural mechanics and fatigue
Vibration and rotor dynamics
Pump systems and lifting safety
Positive and solution-oriented interaction skills with counterparts as required.
Efficient end results-oriented approach.
Works well in teams as well as an individual contributor.
Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time given with own responsibility to plan and prioritize.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Service mindset with strong focus on business growth and profitability.
