Full job description

Opening for QA Module Lead

Location: Vikhroli (East)
Experience: 5+yrs (Relevant into Software Testing)
Notice Period: 15 days to 1 month (Immediate joinee preferred)
Working Days: 5 days (Monday to Friday)
Interview Rounds: 4 rounds (First 2 rounds will be virtual and last 2 rounds will be face to face only)
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineer or higher
ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus

Mandatory Skills: Strong experience of Playwright with Javascript / Typescript, API Testing, Postman, Pytest, Performance Testing, Jmeter, Selenium

Responsibilities:
 Plan, estimate, prioritize the functional and nonfunctional testing activities to ensure successful deliveries.
 Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
 Design, develop and execute automated test scripts. Record test results, test summary reports, defect reports and complete all test activities.
 Troubleshoot, identify the root cause and differentiate defects with better understanding.  Establish QA metrics and reporting dashboards for all stakeholders.
 Facilitate the decomposition of business requirements, into Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria
 Responsible for on-time delivery and timely escalations of risks, issues, status for the relevant stakeholders and Lead QA process improvement initiatives.
 Clearly document and thoroughly execute Acceptance Tests.
 Organize and manage manual and automated test case libraries.
 Organize, manage, and assist manual and automated test engineers to ensure minimal production defect leaks.
 Establish and maintain quality assurance standard operating procedures.
 Must have strong knowledge of Frontend, Backend QA and Mobile app testing.
 Should be able to execute properly STLC.
 Good knowledge about the third-party tools to do different kinds of testing.
 Mentor / Train team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficient and effective testing processes.
 Keep abreast of changes in technology, standards, and relevant developments in IT & testing by maintaining professional competency through training.
 Collaborate effectively with team members and others in organization to resolve testing issues

Skills & Expertise:
 Experience of Playwright tool with Typescript/Javascript is mandatory
 Experience in API testing using Postman and Pytest
 In-depth knowledge of UI test automation tools (robot framework, Selenium) with strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python) for test automation.
 Experience in performance Testing tools (JMeter, Locust)
 API testing automation tools
 Accuracy and attention to detail with in-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, automated testing
 Experience with SQL, version control systems (e.g., Git)
 Ability to facilitate root cause analysis for critical defects and/or system outages.
