About Akin Chemicals Private Limited: Akin Chemicals is a leading chemical distribution and trading house headquartered in Mumbai. We specialize in sourcing, importing, and distributing high-quality chemical solvents and raw materials globally, catering to diverse industries including Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, and Paints & Coatings.

Job Summary: This role will be the head of the finance function, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, banking, compliance, taxation, and management information systems (MIS). This is a critical leadership role that will partner with the CEO to drive business strategy, ensure financial integrity, and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and maintain banking relationships and lines of credit to support the company's financial health.
Lead the annual budgeting process and strategic financial planning. Monitor financial performance against budget to guide decision-making.
Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI. Manage all tax filings and audits.
Supervise the Accounts team, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll functions. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
Develop and deliver comprehensive MIS reports that provide a holistic view of the business, integrating data from sales, production, inventory, and finance to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational efficiency.
Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate and manage all internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field is required. A Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience within the trading sector, especially chemicals or industrials, is highly preferred.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
Strong proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to manage a 8-10 member team

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
