Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Senior GCP Cloud Engineer to lead and execute our cloud migration from Microsoft Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while owning the ongoing management, security, automation, and scalability of the platform.
This role is ideal for someone who has independently built and managed GCP environments and enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment with end-to-end ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Azure-to-GCP migration across Development, SIT, and Production environments.
- Design and manage GCP organization structure, projects, IAM, networking, and security controls.
- Provision, manage, and optimize GKE clusters.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Migrate Jenkins pipelines to GitHub Actions.
- Manage HashiCorp Vault, Secret Manager, and Cloud KMS integrations.
- Support MongoDB Atlas migration and GCP networking integration.
- Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting frameworks.
- Manage CI/CD, deployment automation, and GitOps workflows.
- Drive cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Act as primary cloud infrastructure owner and incident response lead.
