Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor cum Business Development Manager (BDM) to guide prospective students, promote educational programs, and drive admissions growth. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, generating leads, building client relationships, and achieving business targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Counselling

Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
Handle inquiries through calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms.
Follow up with prospective students to convert leads into admissions.
Maintain student databases and admission records.

Business Development

Develop strategies to increase student enrollments and business growth.
Generate leads through marketing activities, referrals, seminars, and networking.
Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, corporates, and educational partners.
Conduct presentations, webinars, and promotional activities.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.

Sales & Target Achievement

Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Prepare sales reports and maintain CRM updates.
Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns and promotions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

Required Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counselling and sales abilities.
Good negotiation and convincing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
Knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.
Strong presentation and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
MBA/PGDM preferred.
Experience in academic counselling, admissions, or business development is an advantage.

Experience

1–5 years of experience in Education Sales / Academic Counselling / Business Development.
