RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
- Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting
Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
- Sales Opportunities Creation
Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at business sector events. Obtain market intelligence and enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization, its products, and its services.
- Sell Customer Propositions
Use personal expertise to identify the complex standard products and/or services offered by the organization that meet the customer's needs, together with quantities and product configurations. Present these to the customer with a clear rationale and at standard commercial terms, referring to senior colleagues where necessary to ask for concessions (e.g., price reduction) that gain the customer's agreement.
Collaborate internally and work as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data
Enter customer information that has been gathered through research and/or through direct customer contact into the customer relationship management system, to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities OR Ensure that team members maintain up-to-date customer relationship management data, identifying and resolving issues.
- Policy Development & Implementation
Help develop procedures for an area of the organization, and monitor their implementation.

Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Education
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Instrumentation and Electronics
General Experience
Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 8 years to 12 years)
Specific Experience in handling Indian Customers in Oil and Gas upstream, Pipeline SCADA sector. Hands on experience with Public sectors like EIL, ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, GSPL, OIL and IOCL and Private players like Cairn, Adani, etc. with basic process knowledge of Oil and Gas upstream, pipeline to talk with customer at pre-sales and bidding phase.
Experience with Private EPC/DEC like Toyo, Technip, Technimont ICB, Worli, TKIS etc is desirable.
Working knowledge of CI Server, Centum VP and Prosafe Hardware (or equivalent DCS, SIS and SCADA expertise such as Honeywell, Emerson, ABB, Siemens) is a must. Experience in PIMS Software and Legacy Yokogawa DCS systems will be an added advantage. Experience in IT technologies, API interface and IT-OY integration is desirable.
Managerial Experience
Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 2 years to 4 years)
