About Sherwani King
Sherwani King is a bespoke South Asian formalwear brand with showrooms in the United Kingdom (Solihull) and Canada (Mississauga), serving clients across the UK, US, and Canada through in-person and virtual consultations. We make sherwanis, kurtas, and suits that people wear to the most important days of their lives.
We're building out our India team and need a Content & Creative Producer to own the full visual and content output of the brand.
This is an employee role — please read before applying
This is a full-time, salaried employment role. You'll be a member of the Sherwani King team, reporting directly to the founder. We provide your tools, set your salary, and you commit your hours to us.
It is not a contract, retainer, freelance project, agency engagement, or vendor relationship — and we are not currently in the market for those. We've noticed that founders of creative agencies sometimes apply to roles like this as a way to introduce their agency for client work. We're flagging it directly: if that's the case for you, this is the wrong fit, and we'd ask you to pass on this listing.
If you currently run your own creative studio or agency on the side and you're genuinely seeking an employee role at Sherwani King (not pitching agency services), please say so explicitly in your application note.
Why this role matters
Our visuals are the front end of the business. Every Reel, every product image, every campaign graphic, every email banner — that's the brand the customer meets before they ever walk into a showroom or join a consultation. We're hiring one person to own that end-to-end, consistently, as a proper function with its own rhythm. Not a freelancer juggling clients. A dedicated brand voice in visual form.
You'll be the bridge between what's happening in our showrooms (fittings, new arrivals, customer moments) and what the world sees on our channels.
How this role actually works
You won't be shooting in studios. You won't need a camera bag. The store managers will send you raw input — mannequin footage, basic phone clips of new arrivals, product flat-lays. Your job is to take that raw material and use AI tools to produce immersive, luxury-grade brand video and imagery — while preserving the integrity of the designs.
The studio is the AI stack — Sora, Runway, OpenArt, Midjourney, Kling, Veo, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs. The craft is judgement: knowing what a luxury bridal brand should look and feel like, and using the tools to get there fast. We're not hiring a cinematographer. We're hiring someone who can turn a mannequin clip into a Reel that stops the scroll, and a product flat-lay into a campaign image that converts.
If you've been watching the AI content shift happen and want to be the one building inside it — for a brand that genuinely lets you push the tools — this is that seat.
What you'll produce
Social content: Instagram Reels (converting raw footage from UK and Canada store managers into polished, paced, branded short-form video), TikTok short-form content, YouTube Shorts, Instagram and Facebook static posts, carousels and Stories, and trend-aware seasonal content for wedding season, festive periods, and seasonal collections.
Visual design: Product graphics for website and social, promotional banners and campaign creative, seasonal lookbook and collection imagery, email and newsletter visuals, and print-ready collateral when needed (in-store, lookbooks, business cards).
Ad creative: Static and motion creative for Meta, TikTok, and Google ad campaigns, multiple creative variants for testing, and iteration on creative based on briefs from the founder.
Brand operations: Maintain the content calendar across channels, liaise with UK and Canada store managers for footage and customer moments, coordinate with India sourcing lead on new product launches, uphold brand consistency across every touchpoint. AI-first production pipeline: OpenArt, Sora, Runway, Midjourney, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs — whatever tool gets us to better output faster.
What you won't do
This role is about creative production, not paid media strategy. You won't be running ad campaigns, managing budgets, or owning performance analytics — the founder handles that side. You produce the creative; we deploy it.
You also won't be shooting. No studio days, no photoshoots, no client-on-set work. The store managers handle raw capture (mannequins, fittings, products). You take that input and build the world around it using AI. If you're hoping for a cinematographer seat with cameras and lights, this isn't that role.
Must have
Deep, current fluency with AI video and image tools — Sora, Runway, Kling, Veo, OpenArt, Midjourney, Flux, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs. Your portfolio must include recent AI-generated or AI-augmented work that you can talk through prompt-by-prompt. An eye for luxury aesthetic — you can look at a piece of content and tell us why it feels premium or doesn't. Native fluency with short-form video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or equivalent) for cleanup, pacing, music, and finishing. Working proficiency with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma). 2-5 years of experience in content production, social media, video editing, graphic design, or creative producer roles. The ability to take a brief and run with it independently. Comfort working across time zones with a small, international team. Strong written and spoken English.
Strongly preferred
Bridal, fashion, luxury, or wedding category experience. Indian wedding industry exposure. E-commerce content background (product photography direction, listing imagery, conversion creative). Experience working with multiple stakeholders across geographies. Motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects, Lottie).
Open to candidates from these backgrounds
Content Manager, Social Media Manager, Video Editor, Creative Producer, Visual Content Producer, Multimedia Designer, Graphic Designer with strong video skills, Digital Content Creator, Brand Designer, or Motion Designer. If you've been doing some combination of social, video, and design for a brand or creator and want a single, focused brand to call home — this is that role.
Working setup
Fully remote, India-based. Standard working hours should overlap with UK afternoon and India evening, with occasional flex for Canada team coordination. We provide AI tool subscriptions and any production software you need. This is a full-time, permanent position, not contract-to-hire.
How to apply
Send the following: 1) Your CV. 2) A link to your portfolio — showreel, Behance, Instagram, Google Drive folder, whichever shows your work best. 3) A short note (3-4 sentences) answering: What's the first piece of content you'd make for Sherwani King, and why? Which AI tools would you reach for, and what's your prompting approach? 4) If you currently run a freelance practice or a creative agency, one line confirming you're applying as an individual employee and not introducing your agency for potential client work.
Applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed. Applications that look like agency-services pitches in disguise will not be progressed.
