Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-oriented Assistant Branch Manager to take complete ownership of ByteBlaze Technologies' branch operations. This is a dual-responsibility leadership role — you will simultaneously oversee the smooth functioning of our Training Institute and drive the performance of our Digital Marketing Agency vertical. You will be the go-to person for everything that happens at the branch — from team management and student admissions to client servicing and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who leads by example, communicates with authority and empathy, thinks strategically, executes decisively, and has the energy to keep two high-performing verticals firing on all cylinders. Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations & Leadership
- Take complete ownership of day-to-day branch operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional functioning across all departments
- Set clear performance goals, KPIs, and operational standards for all team members and ensure consistent achievement
- Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews to keep the team aligned, motivated, and accountable
- Monitor branch-level revenue, expenses, and profitability and report directly to senior management with actionable insights
- Ensure the branch maintains the highest standards of quality, discipline, and professionalism at all times
- Resolve operational challenges, team conflicts, and escalated issues swiftly and effectively
- Implement company policies, processes, and standard operating procedures across all branch functions
- Prepare and present regular branch performance reports — covering admissions, revenue, client projects, and team productivity — to the leadership team
Training Institute Management
- Oversee the complete operations of the training institute including admissions, batch scheduling, trainer management, and student experience
- Collaborate with Admission Counsellors and Career Counsellors to drive enrollment targets and ensure a high student conversion rate
- Monitor trainer performance, course delivery quality, and student satisfaction levels regularly
- Ensure training infrastructure, classroom environment, and learning resources are always up to date and well-maintained
- Track student progress, attendance, and outcomes — and take proactive steps to improve results where needed
- Coordinate student placement support, career guidance, and post-course engagement initiatives
- Drive initiatives to increase institute visibility, reputation, and enrollment through community outreach, referral programs, and institutional tie-ups
Digital Marketing Agency Management
- Oversee the agency vertical's project pipeline, client relationships, and delivery standards
- Coordinate with the SEO, design, development, and content teams to ensure client projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality
- Act as a senior point of contact for key agency clients — building strong, trust-based relationships and ensuring long-term retention
- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and support the sales process for agency services
- Monitor campaign performance, project timelines, and team workloads to ensure optimal productivity and client satisfaction
- Drive upselling and cross-selling of digital marketing services to existing clients
- Ensure the agency team stays updated with the latest digital trends, tools, and platform changes
Team Building & People Management
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members across both the institute and agency verticals
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture within the branch
- Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate training and development initiatives accordingly
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance to keep team morale and motivation consistently high
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification is Graduation — a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline is mandatory. A background in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field is strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial, operations, or leadership role — preferably in an EdTech, training institute, digital marketing agency, or related industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and verticals simultaneously without dropping the ball on either
- Strong understanding of training institute operations and/or digital marketing agency workflows
- Excellent leadership skills — ability to inspire, guide, and hold teams accountable with equal measure
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi — you will be communicating with students, parents, clients, vendors, and senior management on a daily basis
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills — ability to connect with people at all levels and leave a lasting positive impression
- Confident and composed in high-pressure situations — able to make quick, sound decisions and communicate them clearly
- Solid understanding of business metrics, revenue targets, and operational KPIs
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM tools, and basic project management platforms
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership mentality

- Multilingual Strength — Fluency in Hindi and English is mandatory. Working knowledge of Punjabi or any regional language is a strong advantage for connecting with the local community, students, and clients
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
- Prior experience managing both an educational institution and a service-based business simultaneously
- Familiarity with digital marketing services — SEO, social media, paid ads, web development, and content marketing
- Experience in B2B client acquisition and corporate relationship management
- Knowledge of student counselling, career guidance, or placement coordination processes
- Exposure to budgeting, P&L management, and branch-level financial reporting
- Strong local network within the education or business community
