We are seeking a highly experienced Techno-Functional Business Analyst with 8–10 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, and software delivery to support applications used in the design, customization, production, and fulfillment of custom sports apparel and event merchandise.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business process expertise, technical understanding, and data analysis capabilities. This role requires working closely with business users, decorators, artwork teams, product managers, architects, developers, QA teams, and operations stakeholders to define requirements, analyze business processes and data, and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
The candidate will act as a critical bridge between business and technology teams, translating complex business needs into scalable technology solutions while leveraging data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and process reviews.
Translate business requirements into:
User Stories
Functional Specifications
Business Process Flows
Use Cases
Acceptance Criteria
Data Requirements
Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend technology solutions.
Ensure business requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Decorator & Artwork Domain Analysis
Develop deep understanding of business processes supporting:
Artwork creation and management
Design proofing and approvals
Logo placement and customization
Sports event merchandise production
Inventory and fulfillment processes
Work closely with business teams to define business rules, workflows, exception handling, and operational controls.
Techno-Functional Analysis
Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to define scalable technical solutions.
Analyze system integrations and data flows across applications.
Define API requirements and integration specifications.
Participate in solution design discussions and technical reviews.
Interpret business requirements into technical implementation requirements.
Evaluate application functionality gaps and recommend enhancements.
Support data mapping and transformation requirements across systems.
Work with development teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues during implementation.
Data Analysis & Business Insights
The candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities and be comfortable working with large datasets.
Responsibilities
Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
Perform root cause analysis for production and operational issues.
Develop data-driven recommendations for process optimization.
Create reports, dashboards, and business performance metrics.
Define data validation and reconciliation requirements.
Support business decision-making using quantitative analysis.
