Position: Sales Engineer Company: Unified Elevators Location: Kerala, Department: Sales & Business Development Reports To: Sales Manager / General Manager Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive sales growth, develop customer relationships, and provide technical solutions for elevator and lift projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting site visits, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with the technical team to ensure successful project execution. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Business Development * Identify and generate new business opportunities in assigned territories. * Meet architects, builders, contractors, consultants, and individual homeowners. * Develop and maintain strong customer relationships. * Conduct market research and competitor analysis. * Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and business meetings. Sales Activities * Conduct customer meetings and site inspections. * Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable elevator solutions. * Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions. * Present technical and commercial offers to customers. * Negotiate pricing and contract terms. * Follow up regularly to close sales opportunities. Technical Support * Analyze site conditions and project requirements. * Coordinate with design and engineering teams for technical feasibility. * Explain product specifications, features, and benefits to customers. * Assist customers in selecting suitable elevator models and configurations. Project Coordination * Coordinate with installation and project teams after order confirmation. * Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution team. * Monitor project progress and customer satisfaction. * Resolve customer concerns during project execution. CRM & Reporting * Maintain accurate customer records in CRM. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. * Track sales pipeline and forecast future business. * Update management on market trends and customer feedback. ⸻ Qualification * Diploma/B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil Engineering, or related field. * MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage. Experience * 1–5 years of sales experience in elevators, construction, engineering products, or related industries. * Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply. Required Skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Strong negotiation and closing abilities. * Technical understanding of elevator systems. * Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. * Ability to build and maintain client relationships. * Self-motivated and target-oriented. Preferred Candidate Profile * Experience in the elevator industry. * Strong network among builders, architects, and contractors. * Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala. * Possession of a valid driving license.
