About Position:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on planning, building, monitoring, and optimizing cloud environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with enterprise security standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Cloud, Active Directory, and DNS, along with hands-on experience in infrastructure management and cloud operations.

What You'll Do:

Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of the infrastructure on Public Cloud primarily on Azure.

Manage full application stacks from the OS through custom applications using cloud-based computing environments.

Work closely with the architect and engineers to design networks, systems, and a storage environment that effectively reflects business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements.

Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for the server-based technologies.

Work with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable software services.

Collaborate with the architecture team to design and implement a cloud management solution
-
Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
-
Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
-
Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with security policies and best practices in cloud security.

Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities.
-
Regularly reviewing existing environments and making recommendations for improvements.

Maintain and perform monthly security/patching updates for Cloud environment

Collaborate with compliance department to complete customer, ISO27001, PCI and SOC II audits

Perform and maintenance yearly DR reports for Cloud environment

Maintain and troubleshoot backups for Cloud environment.

Troubleshoot the Azure environment related issues.

Must have administrator level experience on AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Patching, Print Servers and monitoring of the environment.
Expertise You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related technical discipline

8+ years of related systems engineering experience.

Helps manage and maintain Azure resources and services.
-
You must ensure all Azure resources, from virtual machines to databases, are working perfectly.

Managing Azure resources using tools like Azure Portal, Azure PowerShell, and Azure CLI. Monitoring resource usage.

You must ensure the Security and compliance for all the Azure resources.
-
Good communication and collaboration is a must.
-
Azure Certified Solutions Architect is preferred.

Milestones delivered on time with minimal disruption to business operations.

Cutovers executed with approved runbooks, clear rollback paths, and measurable hypercare outcomes.

Documentation, KT, and operational handover completed to an acceptable standard.

Risks, dependencies, and issues identified early and managed proactively

Availability to work flexible hours, respond to emergencies, and participate in occasional on-call rotations
