Full job description

About the Role:

We are looking for a QA Manual Tester Intern to join our quality assurance team and help us ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products. You will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, and verifying fixes across development cycles.

This internship is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, methodical, and eager to learn manual testing, test case writing, bug reporting, and SDLC/STLC practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing on websites, web apps, and mobile apps.
Understand product requirements and create test plans and test cases.
Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or Excel.
Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure functionality and usability.
Conduct regression, functional, usability, and exploratory testing.
Validate fixes and perform retesting after updates or bug resolutions.
Maintain clear documentation of test results and observations.

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of software testing principles.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with writing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Clear communication and documentation skills.
Keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering bug-free experiences.

Nice to Have:

Experience with tools like Jira, Bugzilla, TestLink, or similar.
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.
Familiarity with UI/UX standards and web/mobile testing tools.
Interest in learning automation in the future (Selenium, Postman, etc.).
