Full job description

This is a full-time, on-site Credit Controller Executive role based in Mumbai. The Credit Controller Executive will monitor customer accounts, track outstanding invoices, and ensure timely collections in line with company credit policies. This role will involve regular follow-up with clients via phone and email, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate debtor records. The individual will collaborate with the sales and finance teams to assess credit risks, set appropriate credit limits, and escalate overdue accounts when required. The role also includes preparing periodic reports on receivables, aging analysis, and collection performance, while contributing to continuous improvement of credit control processes.

Qualifications

Strong credit control and credit management skills, with the ability to assess creditworthiness and enforce credit policies.
Hands-on experience with debt collection and managing debtors, including follow-ups and negotiation for timely payments.
Basic to intermediate finance knowledge to interpret financial data, reconcile accounts, and support reporting.
Proficiency with MS Excel and accounting/ERP software for maintaining ledgers, aging reports, and collection dashboards.
Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills for interacting with internal teams and clients.
High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to work with deadlines and targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; prior experience in credit control or accounts receivable is preferred.
Ethical, organized, and self-motivated professional with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
