Business Development Intern - BookMyBeats

About BookMyBeats

BookMyBeats is an event ticketing and management platform built to help event organizers sell tickets, manage attendees, track sales and simplify event operations.

We are currently expanding our organizer network across Ahmedabad and Gujarat, especially in the events, Navratri, Garba, concerts, parties, college events and entertainment space.

We are looking for energetic and confident Business Development Interns who enjoy talking to people, discovering new opportunities and building relationships.

What You’ll Do

Research and identify event organizers, event managers, clubs, colleges, venues and businesses hosting upcoming events.
Find potential organizers through Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google, local networks and other channels.
Contact event organizers through calls, WhatsApp, Instagram and other communication channels.
Introduce BookMyBeats and explain how our platform can help organizers manage and sell event tickets.
Generate qualified leads and maintain a proper lead database.
Schedule product demos and meetings with interested organizers.
Follow up with potential clients and convert leads into active organizers.
Help organizers understand the BookMyBeats platform and assist them during onboarding.
Maintain regular communication with organizers before and during their events.
Build long-term relationships with event organizers and event management companies.
Identify upcoming events in Ahmedabad and nearby areas.
Track daily activities, leads, follow-ups, meetings and conversions.
Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to grow BookMyBeats.

Who We’re Looking For

Students or fresh graduates who are interested in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Events or Startups.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Gujarati.
Comfortable speaking with new people over phone calls and WhatsApp.
Confident, energetic and self-motivated.
Willing to approach people and create new business opportunities.
Good negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable using Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Sheets and basic computer tools.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned leads.
Previous sales, event management, marketing or business development experience is a plus, but not required.
