URGENT OPENING – Social Media Executive & Canva Designer
Amarea Creative Agency

We are looking for a creative, dynamic, and driven Social Media Executive & Canva Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media marketing along with the ability to create engaging visual content using Canva and other content creation tools.

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and Canva design, preferably in an agency environment.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management

Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with each client’s goals, audience, and brand identity.
Plan and manage monthly content calendars.
Create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
Monitor, engage, and grow online communities through comments, DMs, and interactions.
Maintain brand consistency and communication across all social channels.

Canva Design & Content Creation

Design engaging social media posts, carousels, stories, presentations, digital ads, and marketing collateral using Canva.
Create visually appealing content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Develop basic motion graphics, reels, and short-form video content using Canva and editing tools.
Collaborate with the creative team to translate content ideas into impactful visuals.
Ensure timely delivery of creatives while maintaining quality and consistency.

Copywriting & Content Development

Write compelling captions, campaign copy, ad content, and social media messaging.
Research industry trends and create content ideas that drive engagement and reach.
Assist in developing creative concepts for campaigns and promotions.

Analytics & Reporting

Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics.
Generate actionable insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and conversions.
Monitor competitor activities and emerging industry trends.

Paid Campaign Support

Assist in managing paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and Google Ads.
Monitor campaign performance and support optimization efforts.

Trend Research & Innovation

Stay updated with social media trends, Canva features, AI tools, and platform updates.
Identify opportunities to leverage trends and new content formats for client accounts.

Skills & RequirementsExperience

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in social media management and Canva-based content creation.
Portfolio showcasing social media pages, content calendars, and design work.

Design Skills

Strong Canva proficiency with a good understanding of typography, layouts, color palettes, and visual storytelling.
Ability to create professional, engaging, and brand-consistent creatives.

Writing Skills

Strong copywriting and content-writing skills.
Ability to adapt communication styles across different brands and industries.

Analytical Skills

Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
Ability to derive insights and make recommendations based on performance data.

Software & Tools

Canva (Mandatory)
Meta Business Suite
Hootsuite / Buffer / Later
CapCut / InShot / VN
ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and other AI tools
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator will be an added advantage

Bonus Skills

Video editing and reel creation.
Influencer marketing experience.
Basic knowledge of paid social media advertising.

Communication & Work Style

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines efficiently.
Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Mass Media, Communication, Advertising, Design, or related fields).
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content trends.
Proven experience managing brand pages and creating engaging content.
