GUEST RELATIONS EXECUTIVE — i'Deli Cafe

Welcome Every Guest. Create Every Experience.

We are opening a new i'Deli Cafe outlet in Kakkanad, Kochi, and are looking for a warm, confident, and guest-focused Guest Relations Executive to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure every guest receives a memorable i'Deli experience.

Guest Welcome & Interaction

Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Assist guests with seating, menu information, and general enquiries.
Maintain a friendly and approachable presence on the floor.
Build positive relationships with regular and new guests.
Ensure guests feel valued and well taken care of throughout their visit.

Guest Experience

Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Proactively identify and respond to guest needs.
Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to address guest requirements.
Ensure guest requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Maintain the premium hospitality standards expected from i'Deli Cafe.

Guest Feedback & Complaints

Listen carefully to guest feedback and concerns.
Handle routine complaints with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Take appropriate action to resolve guest concerns quickly.
Escalate serious or unresolved issues to the Floor Manager or Restaurant Manager.
Record important guest feedback and communicate observations to management.

Service Coordination

Coordinate with the floor team to ensure smooth guest service.
Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods.
Support the team in maintaining table readiness and service standards.
Communicate special guest requirements to the relevant team members.
Assist with reservations and guest arrangements when required.

Product Knowledge

Maintain strong knowledge of i'Deli Cafe food and beverage offerings.
Be able to explain menu items, ingredients, and available options to guests.
Communicate promotions, new products, and special offers appropriately.
Support the service team with guest recommendations when required.

Guest Engagement

Engage with guests in a warm and professional manner.
Develop rapport with regular customers.
Support special occasions, celebrations, and guest requests.
Encourage positive guest engagement with the i'Deli Cafe brand.
Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere within the outlet.

Service Excellence

Monitor service quality and report issues to the floor management team.
Ensure guest areas are clean, organised, and presentable.
Pay attention to details that improve the overall guest experience.
Support the team during peak operating hours.
Lead by example in communication, grooming, and hospitality.

Brand Representation

Represent i'Deli Cafe with professionalism, warmth, and confidence.
Maintain excellent grooming and personal presentation.
Ensure communication with guests reflects the brand's values and standards.
Protect the reputation and image of i'Deli Cafe through professional conduct.

New Outlet Opening

Support the launch of the new Kakkanad outlet.
Assist with establishing guest service and hospitality standards from day one.
Participate in pre-opening training and service rehearsals.
Help the team understand guest interaction standards and brand expectations.
Support management in creating a welcoming guest

Reporting & Communication

Record and communicate guest feedback to management.
Report recurring guest concerns and service issues.
Assist with guest-related reports when required.
Maintain clear communication with the Floor Supervisor, Floor Manager, and Restaurant Manager.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in guest relations, hospitality, restaurants, cafés, hotels, retail, or customer service preferred.
Previous experience as a Guest Relations Executive, Guest Relations Associate, Host/Hostess, Customer Service Executive, or similar role is an advantage.
Experience in premium hospitality or restaurant brands will be an added advantage.

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Relevant customer service or hospitality experience will also be considered.
