Job Description of Corporate Academic Coordinator
Work timings: 9 am -3 pm
Location: Based in Gurgaon (across all three branches) – with remote oversight and
coordination for Bangalore branches
Additional responsibility: Emerald Class Teacher
Reporting: To Director (Ms Urvashi) and dotted reporting to Group Manager (Ms Maansi
Dua)
The Corporate Academic Coordinator at KKPS will be responsible for overseeing and
coordinating all academic activities across all branches throughout India. This role
encompasses comprehensive leadership of both preschool and Daycare academic functions,
ensuring the consistent and high-quality delivery of early childhood education. Key
responsibilities include curriculum planning and implementation, training and mentoring
teachers, observing classroom practices, assessing child development, and standardizing
academic displays and planners across centres. The coordinator will also lead the planning
and execution of academic events and ensure that classroom environments reflect best
practices in early learning. All academic aspects of preschool and Daycare will fall under the
direct scope of this role. Additionally, there will be a dotted-line reporting structure wherein
all teachers across branches will report to the Corporate Academic Coordinator in
coordination with their respective Centre Managers. This role demands a strong academic
vision, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to maintaining pedagogical excellence
across the KKPS network.
In Gurgaon, Coordinator will provide support to Centre Managers in managing daily
operations if required and will step in to provide coverage whenever a Centre Manager is on
leave.
Location and Responsibilities Breakdown
Remote management:
Manage and coordinate academic activities for branches remotely by conducting
virtual meetings, training sessions, WhatsApp updates and reviews as needed for
cities other than Delhi NCR.
Physical Visits:
Visit branches in Delhi NCR for event planning, display discussions, teacher
observations, and other on-site activities.
Ensure consistent implementation of the curriculum and educational programs
across all branches.
Oversee curriculum implementation, teacher training, child observations, and other
academic activities for rest of classes.
To provide support to Centre Managers in managing daily operations if required and
provide coverage whenever a Centre Manager is on leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Planning:
Develop and implement Academic Planner, Events calendar, and Parent Engagement
calendar of global standards.
Develop and implement a standardized curriculum for Preschool across all branches.
Curriculum should be well researched and incorporate elevated modes and materials
of lesson delivery.
Regularly update and revise the curriculum to align with educational standards and
best practices.
Ensuring timetable and lesson plans are strictly adhered.
Staff planning & substitute planning.
Conducting academic round for teacher interviews.
Develop daycare planners and daycare schedule, ensuring they are comprehensive,
engaging, and aligned with the organisation’s standards.
Regularly review and update daycare planners to incorporate feedback and ensure
they remain relevant and effective.
Teacher Training, Mentoring & Leadership
Develop annual teacher training calendar.
Conduct training sessions for Preschool and Daycare teachers on the curriculum,
teaching methodologies, conducting observations and classroom management and
organization.
Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for teachers to
enhance their skills and knowledge.
Stay updated with the latest trends, research, and best practices in education,
curriculum development, teacher training, and other relevant areas.
Participate in professional development opportunities, conferences, workshops, and
training programs to enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to branch coordinators, teachers, and
support staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team
to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Daycare operations:
Oversee Daycare operations across all KKPS centres to ensure consistency and
quality
Train Daycare teachers to follow best practices in care and engagement
Provide structured planners and schedules tailored to daycare routines
Ensure smooth and effective execution of daily daycare activities
Conduct regular review meetings with daycare staff to monitor progress and address
concerns
Maintain high standards of care, safety, and engagement across all daycare settings
Ensure all daycare-related practices are aligned with KKPS policies and standards
Child Observations:
Observe and assess children's' academic performance, behaviour, and learning
needs.
Review child observation records across branches.
Provide feedback and recommendations to teachers and parents to support
students' overall development and academic progress.
Teacher Observations:
Conduct in-person classroom observations to evaluate teaching effectiveness,
adherence to curriculum standards, and classroom engagement once in a month
for all Gurgaon branches.
Review and evaluate teacher performance for Bangalore branches once a month
based on classroom videos shared by the respective Branch Managers.
Offer constructive feedback and coaching to teachers to improve their teaching
practices and student outcomes.
Maintain all Teacher observations records branch wise for Management review.
Event Planning
Plan, organize, and coordinate academic and cultural events across all branches.
Ensure smooth execution of events, including logistics, resource allocation, and
stakeholder communication.
Take full ownership of events, managing all aspects from initial planning to execution
and post-event review.
Conduct a thorough post-event review to assess success, gather feedback, and
identify areas for improvement for future events.
Display Planning:
Design and create educational displays to enhance learning environments as per
EYFS classroom display policies.
Coordinate with teachers and staff to develop relevant and informative displays
aligned with the curriculum.
Coordinate with all teachers pan India to receive classroom videos every Friday for
review. Provide direct feedback feedback in collaboration with the respective Centre
Manager during the weekly meeting to all teachers regarding any discrepancies or
areas for improvement in their classrooms.
Classroom Inventory, Resource Allocation and Management:
Coordinate with Centre Manager to ensure adequate resources, materials, and
facilities are available for effective curriculum delivery and activities.
Monitor and manage resource utilization to optimize efficiency and cost-
effectiveness across branches.
Periodic review and recordkeeping of classroom inventory.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain quality and consistency in curriculum
implementation, teaching practices, and operational processes.
Ensure compliance with educational standards, regulations, and organizational
policies across all branches.
Conduct weekly review meetings with all branch teams to discuss progress,
challenges, and opportunities.
Provide guidance, support, and feedback to branch teams to ensure alignment with
organizational goals and standards.
Share compliance and non-compliance to management on a consistent and timely
basis.
Illumine: Parent Communication
Reviewing centre updates daily.
Quality check of photographs and videos shared.
Monitor all branches to confirm timely and accurate sharing of updates, ensuring
alignment with organisational guidelines.
Oversee and ensure that all concerns related to academics and operations posted on
Illumine app are addressed and resolved promptly, with no pending issues.

Pay: ₹35,812.28 - ₹40,305.75 per month
