Role Summary:

The Lead, Data Operations is responsible for overseeing data operations teams, ensuring data accuracy and quality, monitoring workflows, and driving operational efficiency. This role acts as a bridge between frontline data specialists and management, helping deliver reliable data services that support business objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

1.Lead, mentor and coach a team of data operations agents or analysts.

2.Monitoring workflows for data collection, processing, validation and efficiencies.

3.Review data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.

4.Identify automation opportunities and support continuous improvement projects.

5.Develop and maintain data quality assurance processes.

6.Analyze operational metrics and support performance reports.

7.Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Analytics, Product, and Engineering.

8.Manage escalations and resolve complex data-related issues.

9.Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Company handbook.

Supportive Job Functions:

1.Accurately and efficiently update Company records in the database via proprietary research applications, such as name, address, phone, sales, assets, executives, line of business and employee information.

2.Maintain department standards in a production driven environment.

3.Attend all training offered to enhance your position.

4.Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

1.Must have a professional disposition.

2.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

3.Excellent communication and organizational skills.

4.Self-directed, self-starter, and self-motivated.

5.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access, as these are used daily.

7.Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.

8.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

9.Knowledge of Internet search engines and ability to use Internet for research.

10.Knowledge of business structures / business acumen.

11.Knowledge of Stock Exchange and public information websites is helpful.

12.Keen eye for identifying discrepancies with the ability to conduct web research and data entry.

13.Aptitude for quality assurance and attention to detail are a must.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

1.Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (often preferred).

2.Experience in data operations, business operations, analytics, or related areas.

3.Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
