Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design review, and execution of civil engineering projects.
Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Conduct detailed feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.
Oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and government authorities.
Establish and monitor quality control systems to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Lead, mentor, and manage junior engineers and site teams, ensuring effective task allocation and performance.
Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation measures.
Liaise with government agencies and statutory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and clearances.
Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and cost plans; monitor expenditures and optimize resource utilization.
Approve materials, vendors, and oversee procurement processes in line with project requirements.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, drawings, and records.
Prepare and present technical reports, progress reports, and project updates to stakeholders.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges during project execution.
Drive innovation and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
5–12 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in infrastructure, PWD/CPWD, or airport projects.
Strong experience in project management, construction supervision, and stakeholder coordination.
Good knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
