Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, automation concepts, and Playwright, along with the ability to quickly understand new applications, technologies, and business domains.

Key Responsibilities

Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Test web and mobile applications across different platforms and environments.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
Apply automation testing concepts and best practices, including the Page Object Model (POM).
Validate APIs, databases, data, and end-to-end application workflows.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
Identify edge cases, potential risks, and gaps in requirements.
Quickly understand new business domains, application workflows, and technologies.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.

Required Skills

2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
Strong understanding of manual and automation testing concepts and best practices.
Strong knowledge of automation framework concepts, including Page Object Model (POM).
Knowledge of Playwright, Playwright MCP and Playwright Test Agents.
Experience creating and maintaining reusable and scalable automated test suites.
Strong ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Knowledge of database systems and SQL for data validation.
Basic understanding of API testing and REST APIs.
Experience testing web and mobile applications.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, applications, and business domains.
Ability to understand complex workflows and identify edge cases and potential risks.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.

Good to Have

Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and workflows.

Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.

Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with mobile automation tools.

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of quality, thinks beyond predefined test cases, and can quickly understand and adapt to different applications and business domains.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
