Job Summary

SAY Rooms & Homes is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager with strong exposure to the North-East and East India hospitality markets. The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of proven experience in hotel sales and marketing, with in-depth knowledge of room sales, bookings, itineraries, destination management, and corporate/banquet business. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of achieving individual targets, guiding teams, building strong TA relationships, and performing effectively in a high-pressure, field-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive room, property, and inventory sales across SAY Rooms & Homes portfolio in the North-East and East regions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Travel Agents (TAs), tour operators, corporates, and local partners in the assigned regions.
Manage bookings, itineraries, and pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Handle banquet bookings, MICE, and occasional corporate events, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.
Identify new business opportunities, destinations, and properties to expand market presence.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis for management review.
Conduct regular field visits, client meetings, and property visits to strengthen business relationships.
Coordinate with operations, reservations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Work under pressure to meet aggressive targets and timelines while maintaining service quality.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of hospitality sales, hotel bookings, itineraries, and destination management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Deep market understanding of North-East and East India hospitality and travel segments.
Proven ability to sell rooms, properties, banquets, and corporate travel solutions.
Leadership skills with experience in team handling, performance management, and target achievement.
High level of adaptability, resilience, and ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Willingness to travel extensively and work in the field.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in hotel/hospitality sales and marketing.
Prior experience handling regional markets (North-East & East India) is mandatory.
Background in hotel chains, serviced apartments, or hospitality brands preferred.
