We provide installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown support, AMC management, technical training, and certified service engineers through the KNI platform across India.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and technical support for company equipment and systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently and reliably while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in servicing commercial kitchen equipment and should be capable of troubleshooting complex technical issues both remotely and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, inspect, and maintain equipment at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, electronic, and control-system issues.
Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Perform equipment testing and ensure proper functioning after service.
Prepare service reports, maintenance reports, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with customers regarding service schedules and technical requirements.
Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance and basic training to customers/operators.
Maintain service records, spare-parts requirements, and equipment history.
Coordinate with the sales, production, engineering, and spare-parts teams when required.
Follow company safety procedures and customer-site safety requirements.
Travel to customer locations for installation, breakdown, and maintenance work.

1–5 years of relevant experience in service, maintenance, installation, or commissioning.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Basic knowledge of electrical/mechanical tools and measuring instruments.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Valid driving license may be required depending on the job location.

Preferred Skills

Preventive and breakdown maintenance experience.
Knowledge of PLC, sensors, motors, drives, control panels, or automation systems, depending on the equipment.
Good computer skills and ability to prepare service reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Customer-oriented approach and professional attitude.
