Job Description – Social Media Strategist

Organisation: Presidium School

Location: 11, 77, West Punjabi Bagh, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, 110026

Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹55,000 per month

Experience: 4–7 years in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Content Strategy or Brand Marketing

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role: We are looking for a creative, data-driven and highly strategic Social Media Strategist to lead Presidium School’s digital presence and strengthen its brand positioning across social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating compelling content, driving audience engagement and ensuring that Presidium’s achievements, school culture, events and educational philosophy are effectively communicated to parents, students and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute the overall social media strategy for Presidium School across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.

* Build and manage a monthly and annual social media content calendar aligned with school events, admissions, campaigns and brand objectives.

* Develop creative content ideas around student achievements, school events, academics, faculty, activities, celebrations, testimonials and campus life.

* Lead the complete content lifecycle including ideation, scripting, shoot planning, publishing and performance analysis.

* Conceptualise and oversee Reels, short-form videos, interviews, testimonials, event coverage and brand campaigns.

* Coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers, school teams and external agencies to ensure high-quality content delivery.

* Monitor social media trends, viral formats, platform algorithms and competitor activities and incorporate relevant trends into the school’s content strategy.

* Develop campaigns focused on brand awareness, engagement, parent connect and admission enquiries.

* Manage and maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity and communication style across all digital platforms.

* Monitor audience comments, messages and feedback and ensure timely and appropriate responses.

* Track and analyse key performance metrics including reach, engagement, followers, views, leads, website traffic and conversions.

* Prepare monthly social media performance reports with insights, learnings and recommendations.

* Use data and audience insights to continuously optimise content and campaigns.

* Collaborate with the Admissions, Marketing, Academic and Branch teams for campaigns and school-level promotions.

* Maintain an organised repository of photographs, videos, creatives and other digital assets.

* Stay updated with emerging social media tools, AI content tools and digital marketing trends.

Key Skills & Competencies

* Strong understanding of social media strategy and digital marketing.

* Excellent content ideation, storytelling and copywriting skills.

* Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and video-first content.

* Knowledge of social media analytics and performance reporting.

* Understanding of paid social media campaigns and audience targeting.

* Strong communication and coordination skills.

* Creative thinking with a strong eye for visual quality and brand consistency.

* Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines independently.

* Knowledge of tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Analytics and social media scheduling/analytics platforms.

* Basic understanding of video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar tools will be an advantage.

Qualification

* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related field.

* Relevant certification in Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing will be an advantage.

* Candidates with a strong portfolio of social media campaigns and measurable results will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

* 4–7 years of relevant experience in Social Media/Digital Marketing/Content Strategy.

* Experience in education, schools, EdTech, hospitality, lifestyle or other consumer-facing brands will be preferred.

* Proven experience in growing social media engagement and building a strong digital brand presence.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
