Job Description – Senior Associate Housekeeping

Position: Senior Associate – Housekeeping
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary

The Senior Associate – Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience for guests while adhering to the hotel's quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per established standards.
Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with guest supplies and amenities.
Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost & found items promptly.
Assist in inspecting rooms to ensure quality standards are met.
Train and guide junior housekeeping associates when required.
Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials properly.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Housekeeping operations.
Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and guest service standards.
Ability to work in shifts and handle physical tasks efficiently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
