Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Safety Executive to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. The candidate will be responsible for implementing food safety systems, conducting internal audits, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other applicable food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and GHP requirements.
Conduct routine plant inspections and hygiene audits.
Monitor production processes to ensure food safety standards are maintained.
Prepare and maintain food safety documentation, records, and reports.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
Conduct food safety and hygiene training programs for employees.
Monitor pest control activities and sanitation practices.
Investigate customer complaints related to food safety and implement corrective actions.
Verify cleaning and sanitation effectiveness.
Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Stores departments for compliance.
Monitor CCPs (Critical Control Points) and maintain required records.
Assist in product traceability, recall procedures, and risk assessments.
Ensure legal compliance with food safety regulations and customer requirements.

Qualification

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Diploma/Certification in HACCP or ISO 22000 will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in Food Manufacturing, Rice Industry, FMCG, or the Food Processing Industry.
Freshers with strong knowledge of food safety standards may also apply.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of FSSAI Regulations.
Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, GHP, and FSMS.
Internal audit and documentation skills.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA implementation.
Good communication and training skills.
MS Excel, Word, and report preparation.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Certifications

HACCP Internal Auditor
ISO 22000 Internal Auditor
FSSC 22000 (Preferred)
Food Safety Supervisor Certification (FoSTaC)
