Job Title: Head – Domestic Sales & Business Development

Job Code: CUB/2026/SSE/020

About the Role

Cubet is building its domestic (India) sales practice. You'll be the founding hire, building the strategy, team, and pipeline from scratch, with direct leadership team access and full ownership of a new business line.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and execute Cubet's domestic sales strategy and pipeline.
- Own the domestic new-business target across the private and public sector.
- Hire and lead the sales and tender-management team.
- Drive opportunities across AI, custom software, cloud/data, and managed services.
- Build relationships with CXOs, procurement leaders, government officials and institutional decision-makers.
- Personally lead major deals end-to-end: engagement, proposal, negotiation, close.
- Establish government/PSU readiness, empanelments, GeM registration, tender qualification.
- Build partnerships with system integrators, consultants and channel partners.
- Mentor the team as it scales; report pipeline, forecast and market intelligence to leadership.

Candidate Profile

- 10–15 years in IT services/tech consulting sales; 5+ years in a senior sales leadership role.
- Track record of independently closing multi-crore contracts.
- Experience building a sales function from scratch, this role suits a builder, not a caretaker.
- Strong network across Indian enterprises, government, PSUs, or procurement ecosystems.
- Experience building/managing sales teams; strong negotiation and executive communication skills.
- Bachelor's required; MBA preferred. Willingness to travel extensively.

What Success Looks Like

Year 1: Strategy and team in place, key empanelments secured, qualified multi-crore pipeline built, first reference wins closed.

Year 2+: Scaled team, high-value contracts closed, predictable forecastable revenue.
