Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry & Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who have completed a B.Com, BBA, BBM, or related degree and are interested in accounting, data management, and business operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, entering data into accounting software/ERP systems, and supporting daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Enter and maintain accounting and operational data accurately in ERP or accounting software.
Record purchase invoices, sales invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Verify and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Support inventory, sales, and finance teams with data entry and documentation.
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in records and transactions.
Maintain proper filing and confidentiality of financial and company data.
Assist in bank reconciliations and basic accounting tasks.
Support process improvements and ERP-related activities when required.

RequirementsEducational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in B.Com, BBA, BBM, or any related field.
Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
Familiarity with accounting or ERP software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Odoo, SAP, or Oracle is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

Knowledge of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
Internship or project experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or data handling will be an added advantage.

Experience

0–1 year experience (Freshers welcome).

Pay: ₹7,500.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
