Job Description – Receptionist

Position: Receptionist
Location: Mussoorie, Uttarakhand
Department: Administration
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional, courteous, and customer-oriented Receptionist to manage the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and guests in a professional manner.
Manage the reception area and ensure it remains clean, organized, and presentable.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
Maintain visitor records and issue visitor passes as per company procedures.
Coordinate meeting room bookings and arrange refreshments when required.
Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, document management, and record keeping.
Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and facility management teams for smooth office operations.
Manage office supplies and maintain inventory of stationery and other reception-related items.
Assist HR and Administration with employee onboarding, travel arrangements, accommodation coordination, and other administrative activities.
Handle basic inquiries and escalate issues to the concerned department when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies related to reception and visitor management.

Required Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
1–3 years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Executive, or in a similar role.
Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospitality, construction, corporate offices, or facility management will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of visitor management systems and office administration practices.

Working Conditions

Full-time position based in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
May require flexibility to work on weekends or holidays based on business requirements.
Accommodation may be provided by the company, subject to company policy.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and company standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
