The Opportunity:
UST is looking for Lab support.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Fine-pitch soldering/rework utilizing microscopes.
- Troubleshooting HW issues / failures / malfunctions
- Assemble and disassemble systems, boards, and components such as motherboards, CPUs, memory, and power supplies.
- Support BIOS and firmware updates and assist in system bring-up and smoke testing.
- Surface-mount soldering (603, 402, 201 components)
- Basic knowledge of operating system installation (Windows/Linux) and driver install/setup.
- Experience with Reading Schematics & board layout
- Familiarity with firmware flashing tools (e.g., Dediprog, BAT scripts, OS utilities)
- Proficient with Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)
