About the Role

We are looking for a creative and execution-focused Content Creator who can take ownership of the entire content production process, from ideation and scripting to shooting. This role is ideal for someone who understands content strategy, audience psychology, and platform-specific best practices, while also being comfortable behind the camera and in the editing suite.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy, Ideation & Scripting

Create engaging short-form content concepts and scripts for: Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Founder-led videos, Product explainer videos, Podcasts and interview-based content
Simplify complex topics into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand stories.
Develop content using strong hooks, storytelling frameworks, case studies, POV-based formats, and educational insights.
Generate content ideas that align with business goals, audience interests, and brand positioning.

2. Video Presentation (Mandatory)

Prior experience in presenting videos for social media platforms is mandatory.
Confidently present and host videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, product explainer videos, and educational content.
Deliver scripts naturally with strong communication, confidence, and an engaging on-camera presence.
Adapt presentation style based on the target audience and content objectives.
Maintain a professional appearance, voice modulation, and body language that aligns with the brand image.

3. Video Production

Plan and execute video shoots independently.
Set up and manage studio environments, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
Ensure high-quality framing, composition, lighting, and sound during production.
Coordinate content production from pre-production through final delivery.

4.Video Production & Editing Knowledge

Understand the fundamentals of video editing, pacing, storytelling, and retention-driven content.
Collaborate effectively with video editors by providing clear creative direction and content briefs.
Review edited videos and provide constructive feedback to ensure the final output aligns with the intended message and objectives.
Understand elements such as hooks, subtitles, transitions, cuts, and audience retention techniques.
Stay updated with content formats and editing styles that perform well across social media platforms.

5. Platform Managing & Audience Understanding

Responsible for social media content publishing and managing.
Stay updated on content trends, platform updates, and audience behaviour across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Understand what drives reach, retention, engagement, and conversions on each platform.
Adapt content formats and messaging based on platform-specific best practices.

6. Content Thinking (Most Important)

Think beyond trends and viral formats.
Create content that builds trust, educates audiences, strengthens brand authority, and delivers long-term value.
Contribute strategic ideas that support business growth through content.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in content creation, video production, or a related role.
Ability to independently manage the content creation process from ideation to shoot execution.
Strong experience in scripting, content planning, and on-ground video production.
Good understanding of video editing principles and social media content formats, though hands-on editing is not required.
Proficiency in Malayalam and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Strong understanding of storytelling, audience psychology, and attention-grabbing hooks.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
A content-first mindset with a focus on creating content that drives engagement and business outcomes.

Proactive, creative, and capable of taking ownership without constant supervision.

This Role Is Not For

Video editors who focus only on editing and do not contribute to content ideation.
Creators who rely solely on copying trends and existing formats.
Individuals who depend on heavy visual effects rather than strong storytelling and content fundamentals.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

HSR Layout Sector 2, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
