Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Month End Close and Reporting:

Perform month-end close activities for Altium India, including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, payroll accounting, prepayments, and lease accounting.
Support timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
Maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations to ensure audit readiness and reporting accuracy.
Assist with continuous improvement of close and reporting processes.

Statutory Compliance & Tax Support

Coordinate local tax compliance activities, including liaison with internal tax teams and external advisors.
Support preparation of tax filings, statutory returns, and compliance reporting requirements.
Maintain supporting documentation and records to meet regulatory obligations.

Audit & Statutory Reporting:

Coordinate annual statutory audits and respond to auditor requests.
Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
Support preparation of statutory financial statements and local regulatory reporting requirements.
Liaise with auditors, consultants and internal stakeholders throughout the audit process.

Business Operations Support

Provide finance support to Altium India employees and business stakeholders.
Coordinate vendor payments, banking activities, employee reimbursements and corporate card administration.
Assist with customer invoicing, collections support and accounts receivable activities.
Act as a key finance contact for local operational matters.

Corporate Governance & Stakeholder Management

Support board meeting, AGM and company secretarial requirements.
Coordinate with local service providers and advisors on statutory and governance matters.
Work closely with local management and global finance teams to ensure finance and compliance requirements are met.
Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications

CA/CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
2-5 years' experience in financial accounting, audit, tax or compliance.
Experience working within a multinational environment is desirable.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
