Senior Engineer - Maintenance

Location Derabassi - Punjab, India

YOUR TASKS

Job Responsibilities for the Position: Senior Engineer

Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of innovative engineering solutions for complex projects and challenges.
Responsible for supervising the activities of the engineering team, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the quality and timeline of project deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.
Manage the process of testing and validation to verify the system, component, and equipment meet the specified requirements.
Present technical findings and project updates to internal teams, stakeholders, and clients as needed.
Stay abreast with latest engineering trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the most current and efficient methods.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering processes, standards and policies.
Support budgeting and project planning by providing accurate estimations of project timelines and resources needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering activities.
Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of injection molding machines.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
Ensure proper functioning of clamping, injection, ejection, and heating systems.
Monitor machine performance and take actions to reduce downtime.
Review and track maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and downtime.
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of auxiliary and utility equipment including:
MTC (Mold Temperature Controller), Hopper loaders and dryers, Ovens / HRTC systems, DG (Diesel Generator), Air compressors, Chillers, and cooling systems

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Job Qualifications for the Position: Senior Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
Proven ability to conceptualize and implement innovative engineering solutions.
Strong knowledge of relevant engineering software and applications, including CAD software.
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proficient in project management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline planning.
Familiarity with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
Ability to stay updated with the latest engineering trends, technologies, and best practices.
Strong team player with leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
