Job Responsibilities

Facilitate the organization of transportation operations by managing the scheduling of shipments, monitoring the progress of deliveries, and addressing any challenges that may occur throughout the transit process.
Engage in partnerships with transportation providers, vendors, and various other parties involved to guarantee the prompt and economical distribution of products.
Gather and evaluate information pertaining to transportation efficiency, including metrics such as punctuality in delivery, duration of transit, and associated transportation expenses.
Facilitate the management of inventory by overseeing stock quantities, performing regular inventory assessments, and addressing any inconsistencies that may arise.
Efforts should be directed towards enhancing the efficiency of transportation routes, with the aim of reducing expenses and maximizing operational effectiveness.
Engage actively in the execution of innovative logistics procedures and frameworks aimed at improving operational efficiency.

Understanding prevalent terminology such as lead time, just-in-time (JIT) inventory management, and freight forwarding is essential in the context of supply chain and logistics.
