Junior AI Creative Designer

Full-Time · Design & Creative · Junior / Entry-Level

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building a creative team that is native to the AI era — and this role sits right at the heart of that vision. As our Junior AI Creative Designer, you will generate high-quality visual and video assets using AI tools as your primary medium, with design tools for post-processing and finishing.

This is not a traditional design role. You don't need years of Photoshop experience — but you do need a sharp eye, a natural way with words (for prompting), and a logical mind that can map out automation flows. If you geek out over what Midjourney can do, love finding the perfect prompt, and have tinkered with workflow tools, this role was written for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

AI Asset Generation

Create images, illustrations, and visual assets using AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL·E, Ideogram, or similar.
Generate video content and motion assets using tools like Runway, Kling, Pika, or Sora.
Craft detailed, effective prompts that consistently produce on-brand, high-quality outputs.
Iterate quickly across multiple creative variations for campaigns, ads, product visuals, and social content.

Post-Processing & Design Finishing

Use tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to clean up, composite, and refine AI-generated assets.
Apply brand guidelines — colours, typography, layouts — to ensure final outputs are production-ready.
Resize, reformat, and adapt assets across multiple platforms and specs.

Automation & Workflow Building

Build and maintain creative automation workflows in n8n — for example, auto-generating asset variations, resizing pipelines, or content scheduling triggers.
Document workflows clearly so the team can understand, reuse, and build on them.
Proactively identify repetitive creative tasks that can be automated, and propose solutions.
Work with the Creative Lead to scale creative output through smart tooling and automation.

Communication & Collaboration

Work closely with the Creative Lead, marketing team, and other stakeholders to understand briefs and deliver assets on time.
Communicate clearly about what prompts and approaches work, and why — helping the team build a shared knowledge base.
Flag creative blockers early and come with solutions, not just problems.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Have

Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 AI image or video generation tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, Kling, DALL·E, etc.).
Strong prompting skills — you know how to describe what you want and iterate to get there.
Basic proficiency in at least one design tool: Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma.
Logical, structured thinking — ability to map out a multi-step process and translate it into a workflow.
Good written communication in English — clear, concise, and collaborative.
A portfolio or examples of AI-generated creative work (personal projects totally count).

Good to Have

Exposure to n8n, Zapier, Make (Integromat), or any workflow automation tool.
Basic understanding of APIs or webhooks — enough to connect tools in a workflow.
Familiarity with ecommerce creative formats — product images, ad creatives, banners.
Interest in video editing or motion — even at a basic level.
A habit of staying updated on the AI tools landscape — you notice new tools before most people do.

You are a fast learner who does not wait to be taught — you experiment, break things, and figure it out.
You are detail-oriented enough to spot when an AI output needs fixing, and skilled enough to fix it.
You think in systems — when you do something twice, you wonder if there's a smarter way to do it once.
You communicate clearly and proactively — no one has to chase you for updates.
You are genuinely excited about the creative possibilities of AI, not just using it as a shortcut.
