Role: Corporate Strategy Manager

Role Overview:
The incumbent will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive high-impact strategic initiatives across the organisation. The role involves identifying growth opportunities, strengthening business performance, and supporting leadership in decision-making through data-driven insights. The scope of the role spans corporate strategy, commercial performance, market expansion, and cross-functional business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Strategy and Business Planning
- Drive the annual strategic planning process in collaboration with leadership.
- Help define long-term business priorities across categories, markets, and channels.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear KPIs, timelines, governance, and ownership.
- Track execution of strategic initiatives and support periodic business reviews.
- Assist leadership in evaluating investments, expansion plans, capacity enhancement, and restructuring opportunities through structured analysis
Business Performance and Commercial Strategy
- Analyze performance across brands, categories, regions, and channels to identify growth opportunities and profitability gaps.
- Monitor key business metrics such as sales growth, margins, distribution coverage, inventory movement, and channel productivity.
- Develop MIS dashboards, leadership presentations, and performance scorecards to support decision-making.
- Work with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams on initiatives related to revenue growth, pricing, and commercial effectiveness.
Market Expansion and Go-to-Market Strategy
- Evaluate new market opportunities, channel expansion plans, and category growth initiatives through market and feasibility analysis.
- Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new launches and expansion initiatives.
- Work with commercial teams to improve market penetration, distributor productivity, retail coverage, and customer acquisition.
- Conduct market mapping, white-space analysis, and consumer trend assessments to identify growth opportunities.
Strategic Projects and Business Transformation
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence, supply chain optimization, manufacturing efficiency, and cost transformation.
- Support transformation initiatives linked to digitization, process improvement, and data-led decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost improvement across sourcing, logistics, warehousing, production, and distribution.
- Ensure effective project governance, stakeholder coordination, and timely execution of key initiatives.
Market Intelligence and Competitive Benchmarking
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, pricing changes, consumer shifts, and market developments relevant to the business.
- Benchmark the business against competitors on product portfolio, pricing, distribution, and go-to-market approach.
- Prepare strategic market intelligence reports and actionable insights for leadership reviews.
- Work with category and marketing teams to identify innovation, premiumization, and whitespace opportunities.
Leadership Support and Strategic Advisory
- Prepare board presentations, strategy decks, business cases, and investment proposals.
- Support the President and senior leadership in strategic reviews and governance meetings.
- Provide analytical and scenario-based recommendations on growth, pricing, investments, and expansion.
- Assist in evaluating strategic partnerships, alliances, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other inorganic opportunities.
Requirements:
- MBA / PGDM from a reputed institution in Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Operations or related disciplines.
- Experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Planning, Commercial Excellence, or Transformation roles within FMCG, food processing, or consumer businesses.
- Strong exposure to business performance management, market expansion, and cross- functional project handling.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership teams on growth-oriented and strategic initiatives.
- Exposure to distribution-led businesses, manufacturing environments, or consumer- focused businesses will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Good understanding of FMCG business dynamics, including sales, distribution, supply chain, pricing, and category management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MIS reporting, and business analysis.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Able to manage ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive change effectively.
Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
