POSITION OVERVIEW
Rivera Coil Manufacturing India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Purchase & Operations Manager to oversee procurement, material planning, production coordination, and operational activities within the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end purchase operations, vendor development, inventory control, production coordination, process improvement, and ensuring smooth day-to-day manufacturing operations.
The role requires strong expertise in industrial procurement, supply chain management, operations planning, inventory management, vendor coordination, and manufacturing process control.
Experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Operations, and Manufacturing Coordination.
Qualification
- MBA / B.E / B.Tech / CA Inter /Any Degree
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchase & Procurement Management
❖ Manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, consumables, machine spares, electrical components, and operational requirements.
❖ Develop procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing.
❖ Identify and develop reliable vendors and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
❖ Review quotations, approve purchase orders, and monitor procurement activities.
❖ Ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for production operations.
❖ Monitor procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
❖ Maintain vendor performance records and supplier evaluations.
Operations & Production Coordination
❖ Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities for smooth production flow.
❖ Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance departments.
❖ Monitor production schedules and ensure operational efficiency.
❖ Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
❖ Support production planning and material requirement forecasting.
❖ Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
❖ Ensure timely execution of customer requirements and delivery commitments.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
❖ Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
❖ Prevent shortages, overstocking, and material wastage through effective inventory planning.
❖ Coordinate inward and outward material movement activities.
❖ Ensure proper stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and material tracking.
❖ Improve supply chain efficiency and procurement coordination processes.
Team Leadership & Interdepartmental Coordination
❖ Lead and manage purchase and operations teams effectively.
❖ Assign responsibilities and monitor team productivity and performance.
❖ Ensure smooth coordination between departments for operational efficiency.
❖ Conduct regular operational reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
❖ Support management in strategic operational planning and business process improvements.
Reporting, Compliance & Documentation
❖ Prepare procurement MIS reports, operational reports, inventory reports, and vendor performance analysis.
❖ Maintain accurate purchase records, operational documentation, and inventory records.
❖ Ensure compliance with company procedures, audit requirements, and statutory standards.
❖ Support ISO audits, compliance activities, and operational documentation management.
❖ Present operational and procurement updates to management for review and decision-making.
