The Role

We are looking for a Senior Creative Director to lead and oversee the creative output of the studio across multiple disciplines and scales.This role will work closely with the Founder and gradually take leadership of the studio’s creative direction and delivery standards across projects.The position requires someone who can move fluidly between strategy and execution, concept and delivery, identity and experience — while maintaining clarity, coherence, and rigour across every touchpoint.The ideal candidate combines strong design judgment with leadership maturity, systems thinking, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through complex projects with consistency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership:

Lead the creative direction of projects across branding, communication, digital, spatial, environmental, and
experience design.
Ensure work remains conceptually strong, culturally relevant, and execution-ready.
Uphold and evolve Lopez’s standards of clarity, coherence, and craft.

Studio & Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and review the work of Design Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams.
Build a culture of rigor, responsibility, collaboration, and design excellence.

Project Oversight & Delivery

Oversee multiple parallel projects across sectors and scales.
Ensure projects move from strategy to implementation with consistency and attention to detail.

Systems Thinking

Lead the development of identity systems and design frameworks that work cohesively across physical, digital, spatial, and communication touchpoints.

Client Leadership

Engage with senior stakeholders across corporate, institutional, and government sectors.
Translate complex business and cultural contexts into clear creative direction.
Present and defend work with clarity, maturity, and conviction.

Process & Quality

Strengthen internal review systems and creative processes.
Ensure high standards of execution across all stages of work.

Experience & Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in a leading design consultancy, branding studio, or integrated creative practice.
Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across brand systems, communication, identity, experience, and implementation.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage large-scale or complex projects from concept through rollout.
Deep understanding of typography, visual systems, storytelling, and design strategy.
Ability to work across disciplines and scales without losing clarity or quality.
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Degree in Communication Design, Visual Arts, or related discipline from a reputed institution preferred.
