Head – Admissions

Location: Gurugram Campus
School: Anandi School (IB Continuum School)

About the Role

The Head – Admissions will lead the admissions function for Anandi School, Gurugram, driving student enrolment through exceptional parent engagement, strategic outreach, and a seamless admissions experience. The role requires a customer-centric leader who can build strong relationships with prospective families while ensuring that every interaction reflects the School's vision, values, and commitment to excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdmissions Strategy & Enrolment

Develop and execute the annual admissions strategy to achieve enrolment targets across all grade levels.
Manage the complete admissions lifecycle, from enquiry generation to student enrolment.
Monitor admissions funnel metrics and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
Forecast enrolment trends and provide regular reports to the Leadership Team.

Parent Engagement

Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective parents throughout the admissions journey.
Conduct personalised campus tours and information sessions.
Build strong relationships with prospective families by understanding their educational aspirations and guiding them through the admissions process.
Ensure timely follow-up on all enquiries and applications.

Marketing & Outreach

Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute admissions campaigns.
Represent the School at education fairs, networking events, corporate engagements, and community outreach programmes.
Build partnerships with corporates, relocation agencies, preschools, and community organisations to generate admissions leads.
Support digital marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing admissions enquiries.

Admissions Operations

Oversee the admissions process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a high standard of customer service.
Ensure all applicant records are maintained accurately within the School's Admissions/CRM system.
Coordinate assessments, interactions, interviews, and admission decisions with academic teams.
Maintain compliance with School policies and applicable regulations.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the Admissions team.
Establish performance metrics and ensure service excellence.
Foster a collaborative, responsive, and customer-focused admissions culture.

Data & Reporting

Analyse admissions data, enquiry trends, and conversion ratios.
Prepare weekly and monthly admissions reports for the Leadership Team.
Recommend improvements based on market insights and admissions analytics.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with the Principal, Academic Leadership, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for newly admitted families.
Act as an ambassador for Anandi School at all times.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
Master's degree is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in admissions, enrolment management, business development, or relationship management.
At least 3–5 years in a leadership role within an IB or international school is preferred.
Proven track record of achieving enrolment targets and leading high-performing admissions teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience launching a new school or leading admissions for a greenfield campus.
Existing network within the Gurugram/NCR education ecosystem.
Experience in premium K–12 school admissions and parent counselling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
