Role Purpose
The GHCP Knowledge, Scenario & Enablement Specialist will own the quality, relevance,
adoption, and lifecycle management of the GitHub Copilot (GHCP) Body of Knowledge (BoK)
and scenarios.
The role acts as a quality gatekeeper and adoption steward, ensuring GHCP scenarios are
current, validated, widely replicable, and actively used—while phasing out lowvalue or unused
scenarios. The role works in close collaboration with the GHCP Vanguard team and
enablement stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. GHCP Body of Knowledge (BoK) Ownership
Maintain and refresh the GHCP BoK with:
o Latest GHCP releases, features, and best practices
o Learnings from handson testing and real usage
Retire or consolidate outdated or redundant content
Ensure content is structured, discoverable, and practitionerready
2. Scenario Gatekeeping (NonBlocking)
Act as the single quality gatekeeper for all proposed GHCP scenarios, prompts, and
workflows
Validate scenarios for:
o Technical correctness
o Compatibility with current GHCP capabilities
o Applicability to real application and delivery use cases
Apply lightweight, fast validation to avoid becoming a bottleneck
Clearly tag scenarios as:
o Recommended
o Needs refinement
o Deprecated / Archived
3. Continuous Validation & Release Readiness
Retest existing scenarios against new GHCP releases
Identify scenarios that:
o Continue to work
o Require updates
o Are no longer relevant
Keep BoK validation status current and transparent
4. Scenario Adoption, Replicability & Rationalization
Drive adoption of validated GHCP scenarios by:
o Promoting highly replicable, highvalue scenarios
o Incorporating them into demos and enablement sessions
Track usage and engagement signals (where available)
Periodically review the scenario portfolio to:
o Identify lowusage or nonadopted scenarios
o Recommend refinement, consolidation, or phaseout
Ensure the portfolio remains focused, usable, and valuedriven
5. Collaboration with GHCP Vanguard Team
Work closely with the GHCP Vanguard team to:
o Align on priority focus areas and scenarios
o Incorporate Vanguard insights and experimentation outcomes
Translate Vanguard direction into:
o Scaled, validated, reusable assets
6. Demos & Enablement Support
Create and deliver live or recorded GHCP demos for:
o Application development
o Debugging, refactoring, optimization, test generation
Support enablement sessions and practitioner walkthroughs
Required Skills & Experience
Handson experience with GitHub Copilot in real development environments
Strong understanding of application development workflows
Ability to test, validate, and document technical scenarios
Experience creating demos or technical walkthroughs
Comfortable operating with ownership, judgment, and speed

Vendor Statement of Work (SOW)
GitHub Copilot (GHCP) Knowledge, Scenario & Enablement Support
1. Objective
The objective of this engagement is to provide vendor support to maintain, validate, adopt,
and rationalize GitHub Copilot (GHCP) knowledge assets and scenarios, aligned to the latest
GHCP releases and guidance from the GHCP Vanguard team, while ensuring speed and
scalability.
2. Scope of Work – Responsibilities (InScope)
2.1 GHCP Body of Knowledge Management
Maintain and refresh the GHCP Body of Knowledge
Update content based on:
o GHCP releases and best practices
o Handson testing and usage learnings
Retire or consolidate outdated artifacts
Ensure content is structured and practitionerready
2.2 Scenario Gatekeeping & Quality Validation
Act as the single quality gatekeeper for proposed GHCP scenarios
Validate scenarios for:
o Technical accuracy
o Compatibility with current GHCP capabilities
o Realworld applicability
Apply fast, lightweight validation
Tag scenarios as:
o Approved / Recommended
o Needs refinement
o Deprecated / Archived
2.3 Continuous ReTesting & Maintenance
Retest scenarios against new GHCP releases
Identify scenarios that:
o Continue to work
o Require updates
o Should be phased out
Document validation outcomes in the BoK
2.4 Scenario Adoption & Replicability
Actively drive adoption of validated scenarios by:
o Highlighting highvalue, replicable scenarios
o Promoting reuse through demos and enablement
Track adoption or engagement signals where available
Work with Vanguard and enablement teams to socialize proven scenarios
2.5 Scenario Rationalization & PhaseOut
Periodically review scenario usage and relevance
Recommend scenarios for:
o Refinement
o Consolidation
o Phaseout
Clearly mark phasedout scenarios as deprecated or archived
Ensure decisions are evidencebased and transparent
2.6 Collaboration with GHCP Vanguard Team
Work closely with the GHCP Vanguard team to:
o Align on priorities and focus areas
o Incorporate Vanguard feedback and experimentation outcomes
Translate Vanguard guidance into scalable, validated assets
2.7 Demos & Enablement Support
Create live or recorded GHCP demos
Support enablement sessions and practitioner walkthroughs
3. Deliverables
Refreshed and validated GHCP Body of Knowledge
Approved and documented GHCP scenarios
Scenario status tagging and rationalization updates
Demo assets and walkthrough materials
4. Out of Scope / Exclusions
The following are explicitly excluded:
Defining GHCP product strategy, roadmap, or licensing
Acting as a security, compliance, legal, or policy authority
Enforcing adoption targets or compliance mandates
Managing GHCP access, tenant configuration, or admin permissions
Building telemetry platforms or data engineering solutions
Customerfacing delivery ownership or billable project execution
Replacing or duplicating the GHCP Vanguard team

Pay: ₹9,946.05 - ₹43,381.22 per month
