Job Summary
The In-House Trainer is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering training programs for employees across departments including sales, service, spare parts, customer support, and administration within the automobile industry. The role focuses on improving employee skills, product knowledge, customer service standards, technical competencies, and operational efficiency.
The trainer will ensure that employees are aligned with company policies, dealership standards, OEM guidelines, and customer satisfaction objectives through structured training and continuous learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities1. Training & Development
- Conduct induction and onboarding training for new employees.
- Develop and deliver technical and non-technical training programs.
- Organize regular refresher training sessions for employees.
- Train staff on automobile products, service processes, SOPs, and customer handling.
- Coordinate product launch and new model training programs.
2. Skill Enhancement Programs
- Identify skill gaps and training requirements across departments.
- Conduct soft skills training including communication, sales techniques, customer service, and team coordination.
- Train service advisors, technicians, sales consultants, and support staff on operational excellence.
- Enhance employee productivity through continuous learning initiatives.
3. Technical Training
- Provide technical training related to automobile systems, diagnostics, workshop operations, and spare parts handling.
- Ensure technicians and workshop staff are updated on latest automotive technologies and repair procedures.
- Coordinate with OEM trainers and external training agencies when required.
4. Performance Monitoring
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and certification data.
- Prepare training reports and improvement plans.
- Support department heads in employee performance development.
5. SOP & Process Implementation
- Ensure employees follow company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Promote workplace discipline, safety standards, and service quality.
- Assist in implementing operational improvements through training initiatives.
6. Employee Engagement & Motivation
- Conduct motivational sessions and team-building activities.
- Encourage a positive learning culture within the organization.
- Support employee career development and succession planning initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in Training & Development or Soft Skills Training preferred.
Experience Required
- 3–8 years of experience in training, learning & development, or dealership operations within the automobile industry.
- Experience in automobile dealerships, workshops, OEM networks, or automotive training institutes preferred.
- Prior experience in technical and behavioral training will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
