We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager to join our APAC Employee Relations team. The incumbent will be responsible for addressing employee relations matters ranging from policy violations and interpretations and investigating and resolving employee complaints. This role requires strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, along with understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
Partner with PXPs in investigations and fact finding on Employee Relations issues.
Resolve straightforward problems by applying relevant policies, past practices and/or best practices to reach a conclusion.
Provide consultation, guidance and coaching to Managers and HR Business Partners to address employee behavior and performance concerns and provide guidance and assist with the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective/disciplinary actions.
Track and analyze ER data to identify ER trends, propose and implement improvements.
Define, design, and deliver ER solutions on topics including HR policies, disciplinary procedures, working time etc. to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Maintain required documentation within JLL's case management system including intake and investigation notes, supporting documents and final reports and/or evidence of action taken.
Advise on highly complex ER cases/problems by evaluating pertinent information, analyzing findings, and applying relevant Company policies and practices to reach a conclusion.
Build organizational capability in managing ER matters by educating managers and HR colleagues in ER processes and practices.
Actively participate and provide support in projects developing new ER processes and other HR process improvements.
Partner with Legal department as needed to ensure JLL policies and practices are compliant with local laws and regulations.

Skills and Competencies:
TECHNICAL
HR system experience preferred (ServiceNow or Workday experience a plus)
Excellent ability to gather, synthesize, analyze, and report ER data
Sound knowledge and experience of POSH Act
Experience in conducting complex investigations.
INTERPERSONAL
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Excellence in making independent decisions with a high degree of tact and diplomacy
Routine application of collaboration, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Ability to recommend and/or apply appropriate action based on policy/procedure and/or business practice while navigating complexities
Effective in exercising good judgment, articulating reasoned rationale for ER recommendations to persuade business partners
History of well-developed integrity and ethical behavior and maintaining confidentiality
Ability to maintain neutrality and calm demeanor in tense and conflicting situations
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial or Labor Relations
Law degree would be preferable.
8+ years of Human Resources experience / Employee Relations
Experience in conducting POSH investigations.
Must have solid ER case management, conducting complex investigations, investigation report writing experience.
