About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and practical business leader who can work closely with the group leadership team as a strategic mentor, transformation advisor, and organizational development leader.
This role is designed for seasoned professionals including retired or semi-retired industry leaders who possess deep experience in business operations, leadership management, finance, manufacturing, projects, business development, distribution-driven industries, or multi-business environments.
The selected candidate will help guide the organization through its next phase of structured growth by supporting leadership development, operational strengthening, business scalability, governance systems, and execution excellence across multiple verticals.
This is not a purely sales-oriented role. Instead, it is a leadership transition and business mentoring role focused on long-term organizational capability building.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Guidance & Transformation
- Work closely with promoters and leadership teams on long-term business growth and organizational scalability.
- Support the transition from a founder-driven structure toward a professionally managed organization.
- Provide strategic direction across business expansion, operational efficiency, profitability, and execution.
- Assist in prioritizing growth initiatives across multiple business verticals.
Organizational Development & Governance
- Review and strengthen organizational structures, reporting systems, and accountability frameworks.
- Introduce scalable business processes, governance practices, and operational discipline.
- Support the implementation of MIS, performance review mechanisms, and management reporting structures.
- Help establish stronger cross-functional coordination across departments and business units.
Leadership Mentoring & Capability Building
- Mentor young managers, second-line leadership teams, and emerging business leaders.
- Guide functional heads across operations, projects, business development, finance, manufacturing, and strategy.
- Assist leadership in identifying, recruiting, and developing key managerial talent.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, execution excellence, and long-term thinking.
Business Operations & Financial Oversight
- Provide guidance on operational efficiency, cost optimization, profitability improvement, and business sustainability.
- Support leadership in reviewing budgets, growth plans, operational KPIs, and business performance metrics.
- Assist in aligning sales growth with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operational capabilities.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend practical improvement measures.
Business Development & Expansion Support
- Contribute to strategic partnerships, institutional relationships, and business expansion initiatives.
- Guide teams on market development, channel expansion, customer engagement, and growth opportunities.
- Support evaluation of new product categories, business models, and scalable opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- 15–25 years of professional experience in leadership, business management, operations, finance, manufacturing, projects, industrial businesses, or strategic business development.
- Retired or semi-retired professionals with strong industry exposure are highly preferred.
Prior experience in roles such as:
- CEO
- COO
- Business Head
- Strategic Advisor
- Commercial Head
- Operations Director
- Manufacturing Head
- Regional/National Leadership Roles
- Transformation or Scale-Up Leadership Roles
